MOTIVASI MAHASISWA FAKULTAS PERTANIAN UGM DALAM MENGKONSUMSI BAHAN PANGAN LOKAL DAN PANGAN NON LOKAL

Penelitian ini dilakukan di Fakultas Pertanian UGM dengan Judul Motivasi Mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM Dalam Mengkonsumsi Bahan Pangan Lokal dan Pangan Non Lokal dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Perbandingan motivasi mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM dalam mengkonsumsi bahan pangan lokal dan pangan non lokal, (2) Faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa Fakultas Pertanian UGM dalam mengkonsumsi bahan pangan lokal dan pangan non lokal, (3) Motivasi dapat mempengaruhi intensitas konsumsi pangan lokal maupun pangan non lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara purposive yaitu di Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Gadjah Mada. Pengambilan sampel responden dilakukan dengan teknik Stratified Random Sampling pada 72 mahasiswa. Data dianalisis dengan uji proporsi, analisis linear berganda serta analisis linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Motivasi mahasiswa dalam mengkonsumsi pangan lokal lebih tinggi dibandingkan pangan non lokal. Faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa mengkonsumsi pangan lokal adalah sikap, semakin baik sikap mahasiswa maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi mahasiswa dalam mengkonsumsi pangan local, dan semakin besar intensitas informasi maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi mahasiswa dalam mengkonsumsi pangan lokal. Faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi mahasiswa mengkonsumsi pangan non lokal adalah umur. Semakin muda umur maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi mahasiswa dalam mengkonsumsi pangan non lokal, dan semakin baik sikap mahasiswa maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi mahasiswa dalam mengkonsumsi pangan non lolal. Faktor umur, jenis kelamin, uang saku, intensitas informasi dari teman dan media tidak berhubungan terhadap motivasi mahasiswa dalam mengkonsumsi pangan lokal. Faktor sikap, jenis kelamin, intensitas informasi pangan non lokal, uang saku, intensitas informasi dari teman dan media tidak berhubungan terhadap motivasi mahasiswa dalam mengkonsumsi pangan non lokal.

This research was conducted at the Faculty of Agriculture with Title Students Motivation of the Faculty of Agriculture UGM In Consuming Materials Local Food and Food Non Local in order to determine: (1) Comparison of student motivation Faculty of Agriculture in consuming local food and food of non-local, (2) what factors are affecting the motivation of students the Faculty of Agriculture in consuming food ingredients for food and non-local, (3) Motivation can affect the intensity of consumption of local food and non-local food. The method used is descriptive method with site selection study was conducted by purposive ie at the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Gadjah Mada. Sampling of respondents was done by using stratified random sampling in 72 students. Data were analyzed by proportion, multiple linear analysis and simple linear analysis. The results showed that the motivation of students in local food consumption was higher than non-local food. Factors that influence student motivation to consume local food is the attitude, the better the attitude of the students, the higher the student's motivation in consuming local food, and the greater the intensity of the information, the higher the student's motivation in consuming local food. Factors that influence student motivation to consume non-local food is aged. The younger the age, the higher the student's motivation to consume non-local food, and the better the attitude of the students, the higher the motivation of students in non lolal consuming food. Age, gender, pocket money, the intensity information from friends and the media is not related to the student's motivation in consuming local food.
