KARAKTERISTIK MANGROVE DAN INDEKS KESESUAIAN WISATA DI TELUK PANGPANG, TAMAN NASIONAL ALAS PURWO, JAWA TIMUR

2017 | Skripsi | S1 KEHUTANANKawasan mangrove Teluk Pangpang merupakan zona rehabilitasi Taman Nasional Alas Purwo (TNAP). Pengelola TNAP memiliki rencana untuk melaksanakan program wisata di Teluk Pangpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik dan Indeks Kesesuaian Wisata (IKW) mangrove di Teluk Pangpang. Luas mangrove di Teluk Pangpang adalah 198 Ha. Pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan Intensitas Sampling (IS) sebesar 0,2% dan 40 Petak Ukur di Blok Luk Caluk, Blok Rondo Kuning, dan Blok Dam Buntung. Petak Ukur ini dibagi ke dalam 3 zona mangrove. Data yang diambil meliputi karakteristik biologis (jenis mangrove, famili mangrove, ketebalan mangrove, kerapatan mangrove, jenis burung, nekton, makrozoobenthos); karakteristik kimia (salinitas dan pH); dan karakteristik fisik (suhu dan ketebalan lumpur). Nilai IKW dihitung menggunakan matriks kesesuaian kawasan untuk ekowisata menurut Yulianda dalam Rozaliana, dkk. (2014). Mangrove di Blok Luk Caluk memiliki ketebalan 350 meter, 2 spesies mangrove dari 2 famili, dan kerapatan 55 individu/100m2. Mangrove di Blok Rondo Kuning memiliki ketebalan 200 meter, 4 spesies mangrove dari 2 famili, dan kerapatan 78 individu/100m2. Mangrove di Blok Dam Buntung memiliki ketebalan 600 meter, 5 spesies mangrove dari 3 famili, dan kerapatan 135 individu/100m2. Lingkungan fisik-kimia mangrove ditandai dengan rerata suhu 31,03 derajat C; rerata ketebalan lumpur 30,24 cm; rerata salinitas sebesar 27,6‰; dan rerata pH sebesar 7,41. Terdapat 10 jenis burung, 9 jenis nekton, dan 15 jenis makrozoobenthos. Nilai IKW yang diperoleh adalah 63,39% (Sesuai Bersyarat) untuk Blok Luk Caluk; 58,92% (Sesuai Bersyarat) untuk Blok Rondo Kuning, dan 75,89% (Cukup Sesuai) untuk Blok Dam Buntung.
Mangrove in Teluk Pangpang is the rehabilitation zone of Alas Purwo National Park (TNAP). The authorities of TNAP has a plan to conduct tourism program in Teluk Pangpang. This research aims to know characteristics of mangrove and its Tourism Suitability Index (IKW) in Teluk Pangpang. The area of mangrove in Teluk Pangpang is 198 hectare. Data collection was done with sampling intensity of 0.2% and 40 plot samples in Luk Caluk Block, Rondo Kuning Block, and Dam Buntung Block. These plots were divided into 3 mangrove zones. Data collection covered biological characteristics (mangrove species, mangrove family, mangrove density, bird species, necton, and makrozoobenthos); chemical characteristics (salinity and pH); and physical characteristics (temperature and mud thickness). The IKW was calcuted using the region suitability for ecotourism matrix according to Yulianda in Rozaliana, et.al. (2014). Mangrove of Luk Caluk Block has 350 m of thickness, 2 mangrove species from 2 families, and density of 55 individual/100m2. Mangrove of Rondo Kuning Block has 200 m of thickness, 4 mangrove species from 2 families, and density of 78 individual/100m2. Mangrove of Luk Caluk Block has 600 m of thickness, 5 mangrove species from 3 families, and density of 135 individual/100m2. Physicalchemical environment are marked with temperature 31,03 degree C; mud thickness 30,24 cm; salinity 27,6‰; and pH 7,41. There are 10 bird species, 9 necton species, and 15 makrozoobenthos species. The IKW value are 63,39% (Conditionally Suitable) for Luk Caluk Block; 58,92% (Conditionally Suitable) for Rondo Kuning Block; and 75,89% (Suitable Enough) for Dam Buntung Block.
