Composite consist of matrix and reinforcement. The purpose of this studies to determine the tensile test of the composite. There are some methods used in this study. The first is library study. The second is interview. The third is observing the composite making. The main material used is resin. The reinforcement used Coir rope. The Coir rope that has been cut was inserted into a mixture of resin and catalysts, and then dried in the sun and wait until it hardens. To determine the value of the tensile test, The result of the study shows the comparison results before and after was mixed by resin, tensile test from the composite more higher than coir rope.
