UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN "SUQUTU AL-'AQLI" DALAM ANTOLOGI CERPEN BI`RU AL-HIRMANI KARYA IHSAN 'ABDU AL-QUDDUS: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL ROBERT STANTON

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen Suqutu al-'Aqliâ" dalam antologi Bi`ru al-Hirmani karya Ihsan 'Abdu al-Quddus. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton, sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah metode struktural. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam cerpen ini adalah unsur-unsur intrinsik yang ada di dalam cerpen dan keterkaitan antarunsurnya. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas meliputi tema, fakta cerita yang terdiri dari karakter, latar dan alur, serta sarana sastra yang terdiri dari judul dan sudut pandang. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema pada cerpen ini adalah bahwa orang tua harus memberikan kebebasan kepada anaknya agar anak tidak mengalami permasalahan-permasalahan psikologis. Tokoh utama pada cerpen ini adalah Angie. Adapun tokoh tambahannya adalah tokoh Aku (seorang dokter ahli psikologi), Ibu, Bapak, bibi Fifi, dan saudara perempuan Bapak. Latar tempat pada cerpen ini adalah rumah Angie, latar waktu adalah pada tengah malam dan pagi hari, dan latar sosial dalam cerpen ini adalah kelas sosial, tepatnya keluarga jutawan di Mesir. Cerpen ini menggunakan alur campuran. Cerpen ini menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama-sampingan. Semua unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antarunsur satu dengan yang lainnya sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh.

This research aims to investigate the intrinsic elements of short story "Suqutu al-'Aqliâ" in the anthology Bi`ru al-Hirmani written by Ihsan 'Abdu al-Quddus. The theory applied in this research is structural theory by Robert Stanton, and the method used is structural methods. The problem discussed in this short story is intrinsic elements that are contained in this short story and its relations. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of theme, fact of story consisting of characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, and also literary devices which consist of the title and storyâ��s point of view. This research concluded that the theme of this story is that parents must give freedom to their children for avoiding them from psychological problems. The central character of this story is Angie. And the peripheral characters are I (doctor of psychology), Mother, Father, Aunt Fifi, and Sister from Father. The place-setting of this story is Angie's house, the time-setting is in the midnight and the morning, and the social-setting in this short story is a family of millionaires in Egypt. This short story used the mixed plot. The point of view in this short story is the first person-additional. All of these elements relate each other so that made an intact meaning.
