Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Kemiskinan di Provinsi Jawa Barat Pada Tahun 2006-2012

2017 | Skripsi | S1 ILMU EKONOMIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2006-2012.Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yaitu mengenai data tingkat pengangguran terbuka, rata-rata lama sekolah, angka harapan hidup, dan PDRB per kapita. Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel dari 26 kabupaten/kota di Provinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2006-2012. Model diestimasi dengan analisis regresi data panel dengan menggunakan pendekatan fixed effect menggunakan metode Generalized Least Square (cross section weight). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial variabel rata-rata lama sekolah berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan, variabel angka harapan hidup berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan, dan PDRB per kapita berpengaruh secara negatif dan signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan, sedangkanvariabel pengangguran terbuka berpengaruh secara positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan. Secara keseluruhan variabel yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2006-2012 adalah variabel rata-rata lama sekolah, angka harapan hidup, dan PDRB per kapita dan variabel yang tidak signifikan terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Jawa Barat pada tahun 2006-2012 adalah variabel pengangguran terbuka.
The objective of research is to analyze the factors that influence poverty rate in West Java Province in the period time of 2006-2012. The data were used in the research namely secondary data that consists of unemployment rate, mean years school, life expectancy, and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) per capita. The research also employed panel data from 26 cities in West Java Province in the period time of 2006-2012. The data were estimated by analyzing panel data regression with fixed effect approach focused on Generalized Least Square method. Through analysis the data, the researcher found partially that the variable of mean years school influence negatively and significant, variable of life expectancy influence negatively and significant, and variable of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) influence negatively and significant to poverty rate. In addition, the variable of unemployment rate influence positively and not significant to poverty rate. In conclusion, the variable which is the most significant on poverty rate in West Java Province in the period time of 2006-2012 are the variable of mean years school, life expectancy, and GRDP per capita. Besides, the variables that are not significant on the poverty rate in West Java Province in the period time of 2006-2012 is unemployment rate.
