Identifikasi Kecamatan sebagai pusat pertumbuhan wilayah di Kabupaten Soppeng 1994/1995-1999/2000

Penelitian ini bertujuan pertama mengidentifikasi kecamatan yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai pusat pertumbuhan wilayah di Kabupaten Soppeng. Kedua untuk mengetahui indeks gravitasi tiap kecamatan dan pengaruhnya terhadap pusat pertumbuhan wilayah. Ketiga untuk mengetahui perrtumbuhan ekonomi di Kabupaten Soppeng. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang terdiri dari Produk Domestik Regional Bruto ( PDRB) Kabupaten Soppeng dalam kurun waktu 1994 -1999 dan Jumlah penduduk meliputi tingkat melek huruf, tingkat tenaga kerja terdidik dan fasilitas kecamatan. Data tersebut diperoleh dari Kantor Statistik, Bappeda, Dinas dan lnstansi terkait dalam lingkup Sekretariat Wilayah Daerah Kabupaten Soppeng. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah scalogram, indeks gravitasi dan Ekonometrika Model Logit Binary. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat satu kecamatan di Kabupaten Soppeng yang dapat dijadikan sebagai pusat pertumbuhan wilayah selain dari Kecamatan Lalabata sebagai ibukota kabupaten, yaitu Kecamatan Lilirilau dan sebagai hinterlandnya adalah Kecamatan Liliriaja. Apabila dilihat dari sisi pertumbuhan wilayah, dengan menggunakan alat analisis Model Logit Binary maka ada tiga variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan wilayah tersebut, antara lain tingkat tenaga kerja terdidik, pendapatan per kapita dan tingkat melek huruf, sedangkan variabel lainnya tidak berpengaruh secara positif yaitu pertumbuhan PDRB per kecamatan

The study is aimed, first, to identify Districts which could be developed as the growth center area in Soppeng Region. Second, to know the gravity index in each sub-district and its effect to the area growth center. Third, to know an economical growth in Soppeng Region. Data used in the present study was a secondary data consisted of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDRP) of Soppeng Region within the period of 1994 -1999, the total population (included literacy rate, skilled labor/manpower), Income per capita GDRP growh, and district's facilities. The data obtained from the beauro of Statistic, Local Government Offices and Agencies of Soppeng Region (Local Secretariat of Soppeng Region). The Analysis methods used were scalogram and gravity index, as well staristical test such as Logit Binary Regression, and multicorrelation. From the result it was showed that there were one sub-districts of Soppeng Region that could be promoted as growth centers area besides from Lalabata District that serves as capital city of the region, such districts are employing the Logit Binary Model analyses, therefore, the analyses found three variables that affect the district's growth, such as skilled manpower (labor), GNP, and literacy rate, whilw unffected by one other variable such as the GRDP.
