Kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap pertumbuhan produk domestik regional bruto di Kabupaten Sorong

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi sektor pertanian terhadap pertumbuhan PDRB di Kabupaten Sorong. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menganalisis perkembangan subsektor pada sektor pertanian Kabupaten Sorong. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka digunakan data sekunder yaitu data runtun waktu Produk Domestik Regional Bruto menurut Sektor Pertanian selama jangka waktu tahun 1996 sampai dengan tahun 2000. Data - data tersebut terdiri dari Produk Domestik Regional Bruto Propinsi Papua dalam periode 1996 - 2000 yang diperoleh dari kantor statistik tingkat I1 Kabupaten Sorong dan kantor statistik Propinsi Papua. Alat analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis Location Question, analisis overlay, analisis kontribusi dan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa subsektor perikanan, subsektor kehutanan dan sub sektor tanaman bahan makanan sebagai subsektor basis yang h a t dalam perannya memberikan kontribusi terbesar terhadap pertumbuhan PDRB sektor pertanian Kabupaten Sorong. Sementara itu subsektor yang dikatakan potensial dan dominan dalam pengembangannya pada waktu akan datang yaitu subsektor perikanan dan subsektor tanaman bahan makanan. This research aims to analyze the contribution of the agricultural sector toward the PDIB growth in Sorong regency. Besides, it also analyze the sub-sector development of the agricultural sector in Sorong Regency. In order to reach aim above, the writer makes good use of secondary data, that is, the times series data of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (Z’roduk llonzcs,~k Ziegzonuf Brutu) according to the Agricultural Sector during the period of time between 1996 until 2000. Those data consist of the gross regional Domestic Product (l’roduk Domestik 11eg1oiial Bruto PDRB) of Papua Province during the period of 1996 - 2000 obtained from the statistical Office of Sorong regency and the Statistical Office of the Province of Papua. The means of analysis used in this research is Location Quotient Analysis, Overlay analysis, Contribution analysis, and SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) analysis. The research result reveals that sub-sector of fishery, the sub-sector of forestry, and the sub-sector of foodstuff plantation as strong basic sub-sectors in their roles provide the biggest contribution toward the growth of YDRB of the agicultural sector in Sorong regency. In the meanwhile, the sub-sectors that are considered as the potential and dominant ones in their future development are the sub-sectors of fishery and foodstuff plantation. The third development strategy and policy is the outstanding sub-sector of the region trough growth strategy
