Giritirta is one of village in Pejawaran District, Banjarnegara, Central Java Province that has a lot of potential resources to become developed village. Locate on hilly and high elevation, Giritirta Village provides big opportunity for being tourism and agricultural village. The hills are consists of rocks where many people interested to mine and make the slope steeper then. Because of that situation, rock and soil behavior on that area, and high intensity of rain fall will make the slope unstable. To make the development of the village is more effective and efficient, the research have to be done to know which the area that susceptible from landslide. By knowing susceptible area at that village, the development can be directed to the safe area and the structure that have to be install if the area is irreplaceable can be determined. The research preceded by soil sampling using hand auger. Combined by field surveying, Remote sensing data used to know the factors that inducing landslide such as elevation, slope angle, distance from drainage, soil and rock texture, and land use. The hazardous area classified based on The Japanese Sediment-related Disaster Prevention Act 2000, evaluated and combined with slope stability analysis, and then composed using Geographic Information System (GIS) tools to be susceptibility map. From this research it is known that most of the ground movements of the slopes is shallow slide movement. Mining area has the most unstable slope that have safety factor 0,793 in normal condition and in earthquake condition is 0,489. The parking area and the mining area is located on the red zone area. To mitigate the situation, the geometric of the slope changed until the depth of the deformation not passing the critical hsm. The assessment make the maximum depth of deformation on the parking area reduced until 4,5 m and for mining area is reduced until 2,9 m. Waterfall, micro-hydro power plants, and hot spring is located on the yellow zone. The existing step way is passing the red zone area. to reduce the risk from hazard, the step way path have to be directed to avoid the red zone area
