Dampak perubahan produksi terhadap kesempatan kerja di propinsi Maluku tahun 1990-1998

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sektdr-sektor ekonomi yang dapat dikembangkan untuk menyerap tambahan tenaga kerja di Propinsi Maluku dalam periode 1990 - 1998. Di samping itu, penelitian ini juga menganalisis kesempatan kerja akibat perubahan produksi sektoral. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang terdiri atas data penduduk berusia sepuluh tahun ke atas yang bekerja selama seminggu menurut lapangan kerja utama data produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) menurut harga konstan tahun 1993. Data tersebut diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Propinsi Maluku. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Shift - Share modifikasi Estaban Marquilas, Shift - Share modifikasi Arcellus, Location Quotient (LQ). Elastisitas kesempatan kerja Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan metode Shift- Share Estaban Marquilas mempertihatkan petumbuhan kesempatan kerja nasional berpengaruh positif terhadap kesempatan kerja daerah baik dari komponen bauran industri maupun dari keunggulan kompetitif. Komponen alokasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kesempatan kerja. Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan metode Shift - Share Arcellus menunjukan pengaruh positif yang dihasilkan oleh tiga komponen yaitu pengaruh pertumbuhan nasional sebesar 123.852, pengaruh kesempatan kerja wilayah 138.400, dan pengaruh bauran industri 1.694 kesempatan kerja.

This research attempts to identify the economic sectors which can be developed to absorb additional labor force in the Propvince of Maluku for the period of 1990 - 1998. In addition, this research also analizes the employment opportunity resulting from the changing of the sectoral production. The data used in this research are secondary data consisiting of the data of the population above ten years of age working a week according to the main job and the data of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDRB) based on the constant Price of 1993. The data were obtained from the central Bureau of statistics of the Province of Maluku. The analysis methods applied are Estaban - Marquilas modified Shift - Share, Arcellus mmified Shift - Share, Location - Quotient, elasticity of employment opportunity. The findings Esteban - Nlarquilas Shift - Share indicate that the growth of national employment opportunity, both from the industrial moxed component and the competitive adventage component. The allocation component does not have invluence on the employment opportunity. The findings of Arcellus Shift - Share indicate the positif influence of three components; national growth 123.852, regional employment 138.400 opportunity, and industrial mixed 1.694 opportunity.
