Ringworm adalah penyakit mikotik yang disebabkan oleh kapang dermatofit dan menyerang pada hewan, khususnya kuda. Gejala klinis yang utama adalah adanya bentuk cincin (melingkar) pada tempat terinfeksi dan kebotakan pada bulu dan rambut. Penyakit ini bersifat zoonosis, yaitu dapat menular dari hewan ke manusia atau sebaliknya. Bagian yang diserang adalah kulit, rambut dan bagian tubuh yang mengandung keratin. Tujuan dari tugas akhir ini untuk mengetahui kejadian, penanganan, perawatan dan pencegahan Ringworm pada kuda di peternakan Eclipse Stud and Stable. Metode yang digunakan adalah observasi secara langsung di lapangan bersama petugas kandang, wawancara dengan petugas kandang dan dokter hewan di Eclipse Stud and Stable serta melaksanakan studi pustaka di Laboratorium Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dan Perpustakaan Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan Universitas Gadjah Mada. Kejadian ringworm selama satu tahun terakhir mulai dari bulan April 2015 sampai Maret 2016 di Eclipse Stud And Stable terjadi pada bulan Maret 2016 sebanyak 3 kuda atau 11,11% dari jumlah populasi. Menejemen kesehatan kuda, khususnya kesehatan kulit di peternakan Eclipse Stud and Stable telah dilaksanakan dengan baik.

Ringworm is a mycotic disease caused by dermatophyte fungi and it's attacking animals, especially horses. The main clinical symptoms are the presence of a ring shape (circular) at the site of infection and baldness in fur and hair. These diseases are zoonotic, which can be transmitted from animals to humans or vice versa. Part of being attacked is the skin, hair and body parts that contain keratin. The purpose of this thesis to determine the incidence, treatment, care and prevention of ringworm in horses at the ranch Eclipse Stud and Stable. The method used was direct observation in the field with officers cage, cage interviews with officers and veterinarians in Eclipse Stud and Stable and conduct library research in Information and Communication Technology Laboratory and Library of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine University of Gadjah Mada. Genesis ringworm for the past one year starting from April 2015 until March 2016 in Eclipse Stud And Stable occurred in March 2016 as many as three horses. Management of horse health, especially the health of the skin on the farm Eclipse Stud and Stable have been executed better.
