Kontrol Multi speed Motor Tiga Pahase Menggunakan VSD (Variable Speed Drive)

Dalam perkembangannya, sektor industri membutuhkan alat penunjang yang memudahkan pekerjaan. Penggunaan motor listrik sebagai penggerak berbagai proses produksi semakin tinggi, namun motor listrik memiliki kelemahan yaitu tidak dapat mengatur kecepatan dan torsi. VSD (Variable Speed Drive) adalah alat bantu pengatur frekuensi sebagai pengontrol agar pemakaian motor listrik lebih efisien. Oleh karena itu, disini akan membahas masalah pembuatan simulasi sistem kontrol menggunakan PLC dan VSD untuk mengatur tingkat kecepatan motor. Ada beberapa metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Pertama, training yang dilakukan dengan bimbing dari dosen melalui pengenalan dan pelatihan VSD Omron seri 3G3MX2 dan PLC seri CPIE-E30DR-A secara intensif. Kedua, wawancara dengan dosen pembimbing maupun narasumber lain yang memiliki informasi dan kompetensi dibidang sistem otomasi. Ketiga, yaitu studi literatur dengan membaca buku-buku yang berkaitan dengan sistem otomasi. Dari hasil yang diperoleh maka VSD seri 3G3MX2 dan PLC seri CPIE-E30DR-A dapat digunakan untuk mengatur variasi kecepatan motor dan simulator dapat bekerja sesuai dengan yang direncanakan.

Today, the industrial sector requires supporting tools that facilitate the work. The application of the electric motor as the driving in various production processes is increase, but the electric motor has a weakness that it can���¢�¯�¿�½�¯�¿�½t regulate speed and torque. VSD (Variable Speed Drive) is a frequency regulator tools as a controller it can make the application of electric motors more efficient. Therefore, it will be discussed and solved the problem using PLC and VSD control system to adjust the motor speed. There are several methods used in this final task. First, training with lecturers through the introduction and training of VSD Omron 3G3MX2 series and PLC series-A E30DR CPIE. Second, interview with the lecturers or other resource persons who have competence in the field of information and automation systems. Third, study of literature by reading books related to the automation system. From the results obtained, the VSD series and PLC series 3G3MX2 CPIE-E30DR-A can be used to adjust the motor speed variation and the simulator can work as planned.
