Tujuan penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah menjelaskan mengenai apa itu preservasi ephemera, dari langkah, tata cara, sampai manfaat. Dalam tema preservasi ephemera ini praktik dilakukan di museum karena ephemera sendiri merupakan arsip yang lebih dekat kearah museum dari pada ke pengelolaan arsip tekstual seperti kertas pada umumnya. Terdapat tiga metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan tugas akhir ini. Yakni observasi partisipasi, wawancara, dan studi pustaka. Ketiga metode tersebut digunakan selama proses praktik kerja lapangan agar mendapat hasil yang maksimal dan valid. Kesimpulan dari tugas akhir ini adalah preservasi ephemera di museum dewantara kirti griya sudah baik, akan tetapi pencatatan dan pelacakan mengenai koleksi masih kurang. Belum adanya staff yang cukup ahli dalam proses konservasi maupun restorasi akan sangat berdampak pada khasanah ephemera yang terdapat di museum.

The purpose of why to writed this final exam is explain about what ephemera preservation is, from the steps, procedure, until the benefit. In this theme practices carried out in the museum because the ephemera itself an archive that is closer towards to the museum than to the management of textual records such as paper in general. There are three methods to arranging this final exam. There are participated observing, interviewing, and literature reviews. These three methods are used during the process of job training in order to get the maximum and valid result. The conclusion of this final exam is ephemera preservation in Dewantara Kirti Griya Museum has been good, but for recording and tracking of the collection is still lacking. The absence of sufficient expert staff to do conservation and restoration process will greatly affect the Ephemera repertoire contained in museum.
