KONTRIBUSI HASIL HUTAN BUKAN KAYU (budidaya lebah madu) TERHADAP PENDAPATAN MASYARAKAT DI DESA KEDUNGPOH, KECAMATAN NGLIPAR, KABUPATEN GUNUNGKIDUL

INTISARI Budidaya lebah madu yang ada di Desa Kedungpoh, Kecamatan Nglipar, Kabupaten Gunungkidul sudah ada sejak tahun 1985, namun masyarakat Desa Kedungpoh belum mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi dari budidaya lebah madu dalam meningkatkan ekonomi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui kontribusi hasil hutan bukan kayu hutan rakyat di Kecamatan Nglipar terhadap pendapatan masyarakat, mengetahui peran para pihak dalam pengelolaan hasil hutan bukan kayu (budidaya lebah madu), mengetahui kendala pengelolaan hasil hutan bukan kayu dan alternatif solusi (budidaya lebah madu). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode purpssive sampling, yaitu dengan memilih narasumber yang mewakili setiap wilayah di Dusun Kedungpoh baik anggota maupun non anggota kelompok budidaya lebah madu. Data yang diambil berupa data identitas responden, luasan lahan yang dimiliki, hasil budidaya lebah madu, sumber pendapatan, manfaat program, kendala program, harapan petani, kekhawatiran petani, dan peran para pihak. Teknik yang digunakan adalah metode wawancara dengan panduan kuisioner dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kontribusi Hasil Hutan Bukan Kayu khususnya budidaya lebah madu di hutan rakyat Kecamatan Nglipar meningkatkan perekonomian anggota kelompok budidaya lebah madu sebesar 26.3% dari total pendapatan petani. Pihak-pihak yang terkait dalam pengelolaan budidaya lebah madu yaitu Dinas Kehutanan yang berperan dalam pembimbingan, pelatihan dan pembinaan kepada kelompok, pemerintah desa berperan sebagai pendamping kelompok, kelompok budidaya lebah madu Sari Alami sebagai wadah/ organisasi peternak madu yang ada di Desa Kedungpoh, Kecamatan Nglipar.

ABSTRACT Beekeeping in the village Kedungpoh, District Nglipar, Gunung Kidul Regency has existed since 1985, but the village community Kedungpoh do not know how big the contribution of beekeeping to improve the economy. The purpose of this study was to determine the contribution of non-timber forest community forests in the district Nglipar against the income of the people, know the role of the parties in the management of non-timber products (beekeeping), knowing the constraints of management of non-timber products and alternative solutions (beekeeping ). This research was conducted with purpossive sampling method, namely by choosing sources that represent each region in the Hamlet Kedungpoh both members and non-members of the group beekeeping. Data taken form the identity data of respondents, the extent of land owned, the results of beekeeping, source of income, the benefits of the program, program constraints, expectations of farmers, farmers' concerns, and the role of the parties. The technique used is the method of interviews with questionnaires and observation guides. Data analysis using descriptive and quantitative analysis. The results showed that the contribution of Non-Timber Forest especially beekeeping in the District public forests Nglipar boost the economy beekeeping group members amounted to 26.3% of the total income of farmers. The parties involved in the management of beekeeping is the Forest Service that play a role in coaching, training and coaching to the group, the village government serves as a companion group, beekeeping Sari Natural as a container / organization breeders honey in the village Kedungpoh, District Nglipar.
