EFISIENSI ALOKATIF USAHATANI TEMBAKAU DI KECAMATAN PAKIS KABUPATEN MAGELANG

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) pendapatan usahatani tembakau di Kecamatan Pakis Kabupaten Magelang, (2) faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi usahatani tembakau di Kecamatan Pakis Kabupaten Magelang, (3) menganalisis efisiensi alokatif penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi usahatani tembakau di Kecamatan Pakis Kabupaten Magelang. Metode dasar yang digunakan adalah metode analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer yang diperoleh dengan mengumpulkan data menggunakan kuesioner pada 30 petani tembakau dengan metode simple random sampling di Kecamatan Pakis. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi tembakau dianalisis dengan menggunakan model regresi linier berganda (Fungsi produksi Cobb-Douglas), efisiensi alokatif dari faktor produksi dianalisis dengan menghitung nilai indeks efisiensi alokatif (k). Pendapatan usahatani tembakau di Kecamatan Pakis adalah Rp 9.568.889,00 dengan rata-rata produksi sebesar 2.221,67 kg daun tembakau basah dan rata-rata luas lahan 4.233,33 m2. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh positif terhadap produksi tembakau adalah bibit dan pupuk TSP. Hasil analisis efisiensi alokatif menunjukan bahwa variabel bibit memiliki nilai k sebesar 71,76 dan pupuk TSP sebesar 4,16. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bibit dan pupuk TSP di Kecamatan Pakis belum efisien.

This research aims to determine (1) income of tobacco farming in Pakis District Magelang Regency, (2) the factors affecting production of tobacco farming in Pakis District Magelang Regency, (3) the allocative efficiency of production factors of tobacco farming in Pakis District Magelang Regency. The basic method is descriptive analysis method. This research use primary data which has been collected through questionnaire consists of 30 tobacco farmer by simple random sampling methods in Pakis District. Factors affecting tobacco production was analyzed with multiple linear regression model (Cobb-Douglas production function), allocative efficiency of production factors was analyzed by calculating an index value of allocative efficiency (k). Income of tobacco farming in Pakis District Magelang Regency is Rp 9.568.889,00 generate an average production as much as 2.221,67 kg with an average of land area as much as 4.233,33 m2. The results shows the factors affecting tobacco production are seeds and TSP fertilizer wich has positive effects on tobacco production. The results of allocative efficiency analysis shows value of seed variables is 71,76 and value of TSP fertilizer variables is 4,16. This indicates the seeds variables and TSP fertilizer are inefficient.
