Studi Pengaruh Individual Risk Attitude dan Tipe Kepribadian terhadap Pergeseran Keputusan Kelompok

Resiko terkait dengan ketidakpastian dan konsekuensi dari ketidakpastian itu. Oleh karena itu, setiap proses decision making dalam berbagai bidang kehidupan tidak bisa terlepas dari resiko karena tingkat ketidakpastian yang tinggi dan ada impact yang terjadi dari setiap keputusan yang dibuat. Cara setiap individu menentukan keputusan seringkali dikaitkan dengan individual risk attitude yang mereka miliki dan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi perbedaan preferensi resiko tersebut adalah tipe kepribadian. Individu tersebut juga tidak jarang akan membuat keputusan bersama dengan individu lainnya di dalam sebuah kelompok. Dalam menganalisis keputusan kelompok yang akan terjadi penting untuk melihat pengaruh dari setiap karakteristik setiap individu karena individu merupakan pemain utama yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap pembuatan keputusan di dalam kelompok. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini melakukan studi untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh karakteristik individu berupa tipe kepribadian dan individual risk attitude terhadap pergeseran keputusan kelompok yang terjadi. Pada penelitian ini, 58 responden mengisi kuesioner berbasis Myers-Briggs Type Indicator untuk menentukan tipe kepribadian dan melakukan task berbasis Holt & Laury Lottery secara individu dan berkelompok dimana satu kelompok terdiri dari komposisi tipe kepribadian yang berbeda dan individual risk attitude yang berbeda masing-masing untuk kelompok kombinasi tipe kepribadian dan kombinasi risk attitude. Setiap keputusan yang dibuat dalam task berpengaruh terhadap insentif yang didapat, baik secara real maupun hypothetical. Setelah individual dan group risk attitude diklasifikasikan, keduanya akan dibandingkan untuk mengidentifikasi pergeseran keputusan kelompok yang terjadi. Selanjutnya, pengaruh komposisi tipe kepribadian dan individual risk attitude tertentu di dalam kelompok serta pengaruh insentif real dan hypothetical terhadap group risk attitude yang terbentuk juga dianalisis. Selain itu, dilakukan pengujian apakah group risk attitude bisa ditentukan hanya dengan merata-ratakan atau mengambil nilai tengah individual risk attitude anggota yang ada di dalam kelompok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa responden cenderung menghindari resiko ketika melakukan task secara individu dan lebih menyukai resiko ketika melakukan task dalam kelompok, sehingga dapat dikatakan telah terjadi pergeseran keputusan kelompok dari risk averse menjadi risk loving, namun berdasarkan pengujian yang dilakukan komposisi individual risk attitude dan tipe kepribadian tertentu tidak mempengaruhi pergeseran keputusan kelompok tersebut serta pergeseran keputusan kelompok tidak dapat ditentukan dari nilai mean dan median individual risk attitude di dalam kelompok. Selain itu, insentif real dan hypothetical ternyata juga berpengaruh pada individual dan group risk attitude yang terbentuk. Risks are associated with the uncertainty and the consequences of that uncertainty. Therefore, any process of decision making in many areas of life can not be separated from the risk due to high levels of uncertainty and no impact arising from any decision made. Each individual decision making process is often associated with individual risk attitude they have and one of the factors that influence differences in risk preferences are personality types. These individuals are also make decisions together with other individuals in a group. In analyzing the decision of the group, it is important to see the influence of each characteristic of each individual because the individual is a major player that gives effect to the decision-making within the group. Therefore, this study conducted a study to identify the effect of individual characteristics such as personality type and individual risk attitude toward group�s choice shift. In this study, 58 respondents filled out a questionnaire based on the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to determine their personality type and perform task-based Holt & Laury Lottery individually and in groups where one group consists of combination of different personality types and individual risk attitude for both personality type combination group and risk attitude combination group. Every decision made in the task affect the incentives obtained, either real or hypothetical. After individual and group risk attitude are classified, both will be compared to identify shifts occurring group decision. Furthermore, the influence of the composition of individual personality type and individual risk attitude within the group as well as the incentive effect of real and hypothetical risk attitude of the group that formed were also analyzed. In addition, testing whether the group risk attitude can be determined only by averaging or taking the median of individual risk attitude existing members in the group. These results indicate that respondents tend to avoid risk when performing tasks individually and like risk more when performing tasks in the group, so it can be said to have been a shift in the group's decision on the risk averse be risk loving, but based on testing composition of individual risk attitude and personality type does not affect the group�s choice shift as well as a shift in the group's decision can not be determined from the mean and median individual risk attitude in the group. In addition, real and hypothetical incentive was also influential in individual and group risk attitude formed.
