KAJIAN TINGKAT KETERSEDIAAN FASILITAS PELAYANAN PENDIDIKAN DI KOTA JAYAPURA

Kota Jayapura merupakan ibukota Provinsi Papua dikenal sebagai barometer pendidikan bagi kota - kota lain di Provinsi Papua . Ketersediaan dan kelengkapan fasilitas pelayanan pendidikan tentu menjadi faktor penting untuk pengembangan pendidikan di Kota Jayapura . Penelitian dilakukan di 5 distrik di Kota Jayapura, yaitu Distrik Abepura, Distrik Jayapura Utara , Distrik Jayapura Selatan, Distrik Heram dan Distrik Muara Tami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan dengan melihat penyediaan fasilitas pendidikan yang ada di lima distrik secara keseluruhan , untuk mengidentifikasi ketersediaan pelayanan, Mengetahui tingkat ketersediaan pelayanan pendidikan dan Mengetahui proyeksi kebutuhan fasilitas pendidikan di Kota Jayapura tahun 2026. Penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik sensus dengan mengambil semua jenjang sekolah sebagai populasi sehingga dapat dilakukan pemberian hirarki dengan metode Skalogram, indeks sentralitas Marshall dan melihat dsitribusi penyebaran fasilitas sekolah untuk menunjukkan tingkat perkembangan wilayah terhadap penyediaan fasilitas pelayanan pendidikan pada kelima ( 5) distrik di Kota Jayapura. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa persebaran fasilitas pelayanan pendidikan pada umumnya berpola mengikuti arah jalan dan pada dataran rendah. Fasilitas pelayanan pendidikan tertinggi terdapat di Distrik Abepura dan Distrik Jayapura Utara dan Fasilitas pendidikan yang masih sangat minim ditemukan di distrik Muara Tami. Perbedaan kesenjangan fasilitas ini dipengaruhi oleh faktor jumlah penduduk dan infrastruktur serta masih dibutuhkan penangangan lebih lanjut terutama untuk pembangunan berkelanjutan bagi fasilitas pendidikan di Kota Jayapura pada 10 tahun mendatang.

Jayapura city is the capital of Papua province known as the city of education and educational barometer for other cities in Papua Province. The availability and completeness of education facilities is certainly an important factor for the education development in Jayapura. The study was conducted in five districts in Jayapura , that is : North Jayapura District South Jayapura District ,Abepura District, Heram District and Muara Tami District. This study aims is to assess and to examine the provision of educational facilities in the five district as a whole, to identify the availability of services, to know the level of availability of education and educational facilities Knowing the projected needs in Jayapura in 2026. This research is quantitative research and the sampling technique is census techniques by taking all levels of schooling as the population so that it can provide a hierarchical method schallogram, index centrality of Marshall and show the distribution of the spread of school facilities to show the level of development of the region for the provision of education facilities on the fifth (5 ) district in the city of Jayapura. The results of this research is a map point distribution of school, Table of schallogram and Index of Marshall (Weight Facility) for the supply of education facilities each level (elementary, junior high, high school and vocational) where the availability of facilities the highest in Abepura district and the district of North Jayapura, Map hierarchy availability of facilities, and projected supply of education facilities for 20 years in Jayapura, and policy recommendations to optimize the educational facilities.
