UNSUR-UNSUR INTRINSIK CERPEN "AL-MADIINATU .. AL-HILMU .." DALAM ANTOLOGI FATHIYYATUN TAKHTARU MAUTAHAA KARYA LAILAA AL-USMAN: ANALISIS STRUKTURAL ROBERT STANTON

Penelitian ini membahas unsur-unsur intrinsik cerpen Al-Madiinatu .. Al-Hilmu .. dalam antologi Fathiiyyatun Takhtaaru Mautahaa karya Lailaa al-Usmaan. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori struktural Robert Stanton. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam cerpen ini adalah unsur-unsur intrinsik yang ada di dalam cerpen serta keterkaitan antarunsurnya. Unsur-unsur intrinsik yang dibahas meliputi tema, fakta cerita yang terdiri dari karakter, alur, dan latar, serta sarana sastra yang terdiri dari judul, sudut pandang, dan simbolisme. Penelitian ini juga membahas keterkaitan antarunsur tersebut. Dengan demikian tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui unsur-unsur-unsur intrinsik dan keterkaitan antarunsur yanga da di dalam cerpen Al-Madiinatu .. Al-Hilmu .. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa tema pada cerpen ini adalah bahwa pengambilan keputusan seharusnya dibicarakan bersama untuk mencapai kesepakatan yang menguntungkan semua pihak. Tokoh utama pada cerpen ini adalah Aku (seorang perempuan). Adapun tokoh tambahannya adalah Kamu, Ibu, Ayah, Hakim, dan Tetangga. Latar tempat pada cerpen ini adalah rumah, pengadilan dan di luar kota. Latar waktu pada cerpen ini adalah siang hari. Latar sosial dalam cerpen ini adalah keluarga yang mengalami perceraian. Cerpen ini menggunakan alur campuran. Cerpen ini menggunakan sudut pandang orang pertama-utama. Simbolisme yang digunakan adalah kota pertama dan kota kedua. Unsur-unsur intrinsik dalam cerpen ini memiliki keterkaitan antarunsur satu dengan yang lain, yaitu tema dengan tokoh, tema dengan alur, tema dengan latar, tema dengan judul, tema dengan sudut pandang, alur dengan tokoh dan judul dengan tokoh sehingga membentuk makna yang utuh.

This graduating paper aims to investigate the intrinsic elements in short story Al-Madiinatu .. Al-Hilmu .. in the anthology Fathiiyyatun Takhtaaru Mautahaa written by Lailaa Al-Usmaan. The theory applied in this graduating paper is structural theory by Robert Stanton. The problem discussed in this short story is intrinsic elements that are contained in the short story and its relations. The intrinsic elements that are discussed consist of theme, fact story consisting of characters and characterizations, plot, and setting, as well as the meaning of the storys which consists of the storys point of view and the title. The study is concluded by analyzing the relationship among the elements. The purpose of study conclided is to know the instrinsic elements and the relations among the elements of short story Al-Madiinatu .. Al-Hilmu .. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that main the theme of this short story is that taking a decision should been discussed together for realizing an agreement that benefit for everyone. Character in this short story is Me (a girl). Extra characters in this short story are, You, Mother, Father, Judge, and Neighbor. The setting of place is house, court and outside of the city. The setting of time in this short story is the afternoon. The social background in this short story is divorce family. This short story uses blended plot. This short story uses first person point of view. The symbolism used in this short story is the first city and the second city. Intrinsic elements in this short story related each others, theme with characters, theme with plot, theme with setting, theme with title, theme with point of view, plot with characters, and title with characters, thus together they form a whole meaning.
