Pengecek Cerdas Kabel UTP Berbasis Arduino Mega ADK

Pada umumnya penggunaan sistem internet menggunakan kabel jenis UTP atau Untwisted Pair dimana kabel memiliki konfigurasi yang umum diketahui adalah straight, cross, dan roll over dimana setiap dari konfigurasi tersebut memiliki kegunaannya masing- masing. Namun dengan adanya penggunaan kabel tipe ini, sering terjadi kesalahan pada penggunaan kabel, sehingga sering terjadi masalah. Pengecekan terhadap kerusakan kabel, biasanya menggunakan alat bernama LAN TESTER yang memilik fungsi untuk melakukan pengecekan terhadap kabel jenis UTP. Alat ini biasanya hanya menampilkan tampilan berupa lampu LED yang menunjukkan apakah kabel tersambung atau tidak, hal ini menyebabkan pengguna awam bingung dengan penggunaan dari alat tersebut. Dengan adanya Smart UTP Cable Tester, pengguna akan lebih mudah dalam mengecek kabel jenis UTP, dikarenakan memunculkan tampilan LCD berupa display kabel yang terhubung dan yang tidak. Pemrograman menggunakan bahasa C yang terdapat dalam Arduino Mega ADK, dimana pemrograman lebih mudah menggunakan arduino dan dapat digunakan secara umum dan bebas, alasan menggunakan pemrograman arduino, lebih mudah untuk mencari library yang dibutuhkan.

Most of the internet's user usually are using UTP type cable, where this type of cable has it own basic configuration, that known as straight, cross and roll over which is from each of the configuration has it own function in internet networking. However, from using this cable, user commonly found a problem with the cable, usually because the cable broke, so there's a tool that used for checking the cable problem, which is known as LAN TESTER, this tool has the function of checking UTP cable problem, and define the problem for each cable inside. This tool shows the connected or the unconnected cable using LED as the indicator, however most of user that blind from the configuration of UTP cable are confused about the manual of the tool. Smart UTP Cable Tester is the solution which user that blind from the configuration of UTP can use this tool easily, it's easy because of this tool is using LCD as the display and shows the user about the right configuration of the UTP cable by the LCD, it shows the connected and the unconnected cable. The program that used inside is arduino programming with C language as the base of the program. It's easier to use arduino because of the free programming application and with rich library that can be searched in case of need.
