Analisis Structure-Conduct-Performance Industri Sepeda Motor di Indonesia Tahun 2000 - 2016

Industri sepeda motor di Indonesia merupakan industri yang memiliki jumlah produksi dan nilai transaksi yang sangat besar. Geliat perkembangan dari industri ini juga seakan tiada henti. Namun, terlepas dari hal tersebut. Pada hasil penelitian yang menggunakan pendekatan Structure-Conduct-Performance (SCP) ini didapat adanya persaingan tidak ketat di antara produsen sepeda motor dan peran asosiasi dalam mengarahkan anggota menghasilkan volume unit penjualan yang besar. Akibat adanya persaingan yang tidak ketat, industri menjadi terkonsentrasi di beberapa perusahaan saja. Industri yang terkonsentrasi ditambah dengan keberadaan asosiasi dagang kemudian akan membuka celah untuk terjadinya kolusi. Bentuk industri yang terkonsentrasi juga selanjutnya akan mempengaruhi efisiensi industri tersebut

Indonesian motorcycle industry is an industry which have huge total productions and transactions. The dyanmics of development likely have no an end. However, apart form that, in this research which using Structure-Conduct-Performance approach has revealed there are loose competition between firms and role of association in attempt to create big sales volume. The impacts of this loose competition, industry is become concentrating just in few firms. This type of industry and presence of association will create an opportunity to do collusion under association member. This form of industry also affected industry efficiency.
