STUDENT CENTER DI UNIVERSITAS TIDAR MAGELANG DENGAN PENDEKATAN OPTIMASI RUANG

Kota Magelang merupakan daerah dengan pendidikan paling maju di karesidenan Kedu. Terdapat banyak perguruan tinggi di Kota Magelang baik PTN maupun PTS. Untidar merupakan Perguruan tinggi negeri pertama di Karesidenan Kedu khususnya di Kota Magelang yang diresmikan oleh Presiden RI ke 6 pada tanggal 1 April 2014. Dengan statusnya sebagai PTN, Universitas Tidar mengalami banyak perubahan dan perbaikan dalam sisi kompetensi akademis maupun infrastuktur di dalam lingkungan kampus. Salah satu bangunan yang direncanakan dibangun oleh UNTIDAR di kawasan Sidotopo adalah Student Center. Student Center merupakan fasilitas dan sarana kampus yang mewadahi semua kegiatan mahasiswa di dalam kampus, baik kegiatan akademis maupun non-akademis, seperti belajar, seminar, pameran, pelatihan, organisasi, kejuaraan, lomba dan lain sebagainya. Mengingat kampus UNTIDAR yang tersebar di beberapa wilayah di karesidenan Kedu seperti Kota dan Kabupaten Magelang, kabupaten Temanggung dan kabupaten Wonosobo, Pembangunan gedung Student Center diharapkan menjadi fasilitas pemersatu kegiatan mahasiswa dalam lingkup universitas, disamping kegiatan mahasiswa lainnya dalam lingkup fakultasnya masingmasing. Selain itu, mengingat keterbatasan lahan yang dimiliki oleh UNTIDAR di kampus Sidotopo, pembangunan gedung Student Center, harus bersifat sustainable dengan optimasi penggunaan ruang yang baik agar mampu mengakomodasi kegiatan mahasiswa yang terus berkembang.

Magelang city was the region with the most advanced education in residency of Kedu. There are many colleges in Magelang both PTN and PTS. Untidar is the first college in the Residency Kedu , especially in Magelang City which was inaugurated on the 6th President on April 1, 2014. With its status as the state universities, the University of Tidar are required to take many changes and improvements in the academic competence and infrastructure in the campus. One of the buildings proposed for construction by the UNTIDAR in the region Sidotopo is the Student Center. The Student Center is the campus facilities and accommodation that hosts all of the activities of the students inside the campus, both academic activities and non-academic, such as learning, seminars, exhibitions, training, organization, Championship, competition and others. Considering The UNTIDAR campus spread over several areals in residency of Kedu such as the City and District of Magelang, Temanggung and Wonosobo district, Student Center Building construction is expected to be a unifying facility student activities within the scope of the university, in addition to other student activities within the scope of their respective faculty. Besides that, considering the limitations of the land owned by the UNTIDAR in the Sidotopo campus, Student Center building, development must be sustainable with the optimization of the use of a good space to accommodate growing student activities.
