PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN ETIKA DAN IKLIM ETIKA TERHADAP PERILAKU ETIS MAHASISWA DENGAN LEARNING STYLES SEBAGAI VARIABEL PEMODERASI (STUDI EMPIRIS PADA MAHASISWA AKUNTANSI FEB UGM)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara pendidikan etika dan iklim etika terhadap perilaku etis mahasiswa, dan menguji pengaruh interaksi antara learning styles dengan pendidikan etika dan iklim etika terhadap perilaku etis mahasiswa. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 120 mahasiswa S1 akuntansi FEB UGM yang terdiri dari 62 mahasiswa yang sudah mengambil mata kuliah etika bisnis dan 58 mahasiswa yang belum mengambil mata kuliah etika bisnis. Metode analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari pendidikan etika dan iklim etika terhadap perilaku etis mahasiswa. Sementara itu, adanya efek moderasi dari learning styles dapat memperkuat hubungan antara pendidikan etika dan perilaku etis mahasiswa, tetapi pengaruhnya tidak signifikan, dan efek moderasi dari learning styles dapat memperlemah hubungan antara iklim etika dan perilaku etis mahasiswa.

This study aims to empirically examines the influence of ethics education and ethical climate to student's ethical behavior, and test the influence interaction of learning styles with ethics education and ethical climate to student's ethical behavior. The sample of this study are 120 undergraduate students of accounting from FEB UGM which consist of 62 students who have taken business ethics course and 58 students who have not taken business ethics course yet. The analysis data method use multiple regression. The result indicate that there is no significant impact of ethics education and ethical climate to student's ethical behavior. While, the moderating effects of learning styles can strengthen the relationship between ethics education and student's ethical behavior, but the influence is not significant, and the moderating effects of learning styles can undermine the relationship between ethical climate and student's ethical behavior.
