THE IMPORTANT ROLES OF FRONT OFFICE IN RELATION TO THE ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT AT GERONIMO FM

INTISARI Tugas akhir ini menganalisa tentang hubungan yang terjadi diantara front office dan departemen lainnya di Geronimo FM. Latar belakang pemilihan judul ini adalah karena terjadi kekosongan posisi pada front office dimana Front Office merupakan bagian penting perusahaan tetapi tidak ada staff khusus yang bertanggung jawab sepenuhnya terhadap front office. Front office di Geronimo ditangani langsung oleh staff administrasi, maka sebab itu terkadang timbul miskomunikasi diantara para pekerja. Informasi yang didapatkan penulis adalah melalui observasi langsung di Geronimo FM yang dilakukan selama magang, dimulai pada tanggal 9 Februari 2016 ����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½������¯������¿������½����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¢����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¯����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¿����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������½����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¯����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¿����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������½ 9 April 2016. Selain itu, ada beberapa data yang dikumpulkan dari interview dengan staff-staff terkait untuk mendapatkan data yang valid. Untuk memperoleh data pendukung, penulis melakukan studi pustaka yang diperoleh dari buku dan artikel internet. Data disajikan secara kualitatif dan dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Dari hasil pengamatan dan analisa yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil bahwa Front Office di Geronimo FM ialah penting adanya sebagai konektor antar sesama pekerja. Front office juga hadir sebagai penyempurna pekerjaan antar departemen. Oleh karena itu, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa hubungan yang terjadi pada front office dan departmen lainnya harus tetap dijaga dan dibuat department khusus front office yang bisa mengendalikan front office sepenuhnya serta untuk menghindari terjadinya kesalahpahaman dan kelebihan beban kerja.

ABSTRACT This graduating paper aims to analyze the relation between front office towards other department in Geronimo FM. The background of choosing the topic is due to the absence of front office in Geronimo FM yet it is important for Geronimo FM to have a staff that has full responsibility to the front office. Thus, front office is occupied by administration staff and sometimes it causes the miscommunication between the co-workers. To expand the topic, the writer did an observation as front office in Geronimo FM during the internship starting at 9 Feb 2016 ����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½������¯������¿������½����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¢����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¯����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¿����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������½����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¯����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������¿����¯�¿�½���¯���¿���½����¯�¿�½������½ 9 Apr 2016. In addition, the data obtained by interviewing several related staff to get the reliable data. To support the data, the writer did library research such as books and internet articles. The data presented by the form of qualitative method and explained by descriptive form. From the observation and analysis that has been done, the result of study showed that front office is important as a connector between co-workers in Geronimo FM. Front office presents as part of completing for other departments. Furthermore, the writer concludes that the relation between other departments have to be kept and there must be a main front office staff who can handle it the whole time to avoid the miscommunication and overload work-loads.
