Dunia industri tak luput dengan pengecoran logam. Pengecoran dapat dikatakan sebagai suatu proses awal dalam membuat sebuah produk sebelum produk tersebut mengalami proses pemesinan lainnya agar menjadi sebuah produk yang memiliki nilai. Namun, tidak mudah untuk membuat produk pengecoran yang baik. Untuk menghasilkan produk pengecoran yang memenuhi standar, diperlukan analisa pada kandungan material pengecoran agar dihasilkan produk yang baik. Ada tiga metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan laporan ini. Metode pertama yaitu pengujian yang dilakukan terhadap produk yang akan dianalisa. Metode kedua yaitu konsultasi dan wawancara yang merupakan tanya jawab dengan dosen pembimbing maupun narasumber yang kompeten dalam bidang pengecoran logam. Metode ketiga yaitu studi literatur dengan membaca buku � buku yang berkaitan dengan pengecoran logam. Dari hasil yang telah diperoleh, untuk mendapatkan kualitas cairan coran agar memenuhi standar hasil produk pengecoran dari quantovac dan shikanbu yang telah dilakukan pengujian, perlu diperhatikan standar dari kandungan material itu sendiri.

The industrial world did not escape with metal casting. Casting can be regarded as an initial process in making a product before it suffered another machining process in order to become a product that has value. However, it is not easy to make a good casting products. To produce foundry products that meet the standards, it needs analysis of the material content of casting in order to produce a good product. There are three methods used in writing this report. The first method that tests conducted on the product to be analyzed. The second method is consultation and a question and answer interview with lecturers and interviewees who are competent in the field of metal casting. The third method is the study of literature by reading books related to metal casting. The results that have been obtained from quantovac and shikanbu that has been tested, to get fluids castings that meet the standards of the results of casting products, it need to noticed the standard of the material content itself.
