Narcissistic CEOs and Narcissistic Organisations: The Case of Christian Rijanto and Ismaya Group

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui narsisme dari CEO dan organisasi dalam kasus Ismaya Group. Sembilan kriteria DSM-IV digunakan untuk menentukan apakah CEO adalah seorang narsisis atau tidak, sementara sebelas kriteria Godkin dan Allcorn digunakan untuk menganalisis narsisme organisasi. Jawaban awal dari studi ini menyimpulkan bahwa CEO dari Ismaya Group, adalah seorang narsisis. Di sisi lain, organisasi tidak. Namun temuan ini tidak bisa dikonfirmasi karena ada kurangnya data tentang narsisme Ismaya Grup.

This study aims to determine the narcissism of the CEO and the organisation in the case of Ismaya Group. The nine criteria of DSM-IV are used in order to determine whether or not the CEO is a narcissist, whilst the eleven criteria by Godkin are used for analysing the organisation narcissism. The preliminary answer of the study concludes that the CEO of Ismaya Group is a narcissist. On the other hand, the organisation is not. But this finding could not be confirmed as there is a lack of data about Ismaya Group narcissism.
