DAMPAK PEMEKARAN KECAMATAN SIBERUT BARAT DAYA TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN, PENDIDIKAN DAN KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis dampak pemekaran Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya terhadap kesejahteraan, pendidikan, dan kesehatan masyarakat, sebelum dan sesudah pemekaran. Sampel penelitian adalah masyarakat di Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai 2015 yang berjumlah 50 orang yang diambil dengan metode simple random sampling. Alat analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif yaitu Paired Sample t Test. Hasil analisis deskripsi menunjukkan bahwa dari segi pendapatan awal masyarakat di Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai mayoritas berpendapatan yang rendah (< UMR), kemudian pendapatan masyarakat di Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai mayoritas berpendapatan yang cukup (> UMR) atau meningkat dibandingkan pada saat sebelum pemekaran. Dari segi pendidikan sebelum pemekaran masyarakat di Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai yang dijadikan sampel penelitian mayoritas berpendidikan pada tingkat dasar. Setelah pemekaran masyarakat di Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai yang dijadikan sampel penelitian mayoritas berpendidikan pada tingkat menengah. Hal ini berarti telah terjadi peningkatan pendidikan setelah pemekaran. Dari segi kesehatan masyarakat di Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai yang dijadikan sampel penelitian mayoritas banyak yang sakit sebelum pemekaran. Kemudian kesehatan masyarakat di Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai yang dijadikan sampel penelitian mayoritas sudah banyak yang sehat ketika setelah pemekaran. Hasil analisis Paired Sample t Test menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai probabilitas t-hitung = 0,000 < Level of Significant = 0,05, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat pendapatan masyarakat Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai sebelum dan sesudah pemekaran. Diperoleh nilai probabilitas t-hitung = 0,000 < Level of Significant = 0,05, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat pendidikan masyarakat Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai sebelum dan sesudah pemekaran. Diperoleh nilai probabilitas t-hitung = 0,003 < Level of Significant = 0,05, sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan kesehatan masyarakat Kecamatan Siberut Barat Daya Kabupaten Kepulauan Mentawai sebelum dan sesudah pemekaran.

This study aims to identify and analyze the impact of the Siberut District Southwestern expansion in the welfare, education, and public health, both before and after expansion. Samples were people in the District Southwestern Siberut Mentawai Islands in 2015 totaling 50 people taken by simple random sampling method. The analysis tool in this research using descriptive analysis and quantitative Paired Sample t Test. The results of descriptive analysis showed that in terms of initial income communities in Siberut District Southwestern Mentawai Islands majority of income is low (<UMR), then the income of the people in the District of Siberut Southwestern Mentawai Islands majority of income sufficient (> UMR) or increased compared to the time before the separation. In terms of education before the division of society in the Southwestern District of Siberut Mentawai Islands sampled the majority of research education at the basic level. Then, after the separation of the people in the District of Siberut Mentawai Islands Southwestern sampled the majority of research education at the secondary level. This means there has been an increase in education after the split. In terms of public health in the Southwestern District of Siberut Mentawai Islands that the research sample the majority of people are getting sick as before the separation. Then the public health in the Southwestern District of Siberut Mentawai Islands sampled the majority of research has many healthy when after the split. The results of the analysis Paired Sample t Test showed that the probability values obtained t count = 0,000 <Level of Significant = 0.05, it is concluded that there are differences in income levels Southwestern District of Siberut Mentawai Islands before and after the expansion.
