AKSESIBILITAS DI KAWASAN WISATA HERITAGE KOTAGEDE

Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY) merupakan provinsi terkecil kedua setelah Provinsi DKI Jakarta yang terletak di tengah Pulau Jawa, pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor andalannya dengan ragam obyek wisata yaitu budaya (heritage), alam dan minat khusus. DIY yang kental akan budaya dan kaya dengan peninggalan bersejarah memiliki beberapa kawasan heritage (Kawasan Cagar Budaya), salah satunya Kotagede. Peninggalan masa lampau berupa fisik dan non fisik dijadikan sebagai obyek wisata di kawasan ini. Pengembangan sebagai kawasan wisata heritage yang belum terstruktur dengan baik dan integrasi wisata heritage yang kurang, menyebabkan aksesibilitas di kawasan Kotagede kurang maksimal. Di sisi lain pengembangan kawasan hendaknya memperhatikan ketentuan-ketentuan yang telah ditetapkan untuk kawasan Kotagede sebagai Kawasan Cagar Budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik aksesibilitas Kotagede sebagai kawasan wisata heritage dan mengetahui arahan aksesibilitas yang sesuai untuk kawasan ini. Metode pengambilan data menggunakan observasi dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan untuk aksesibilitas wisata heritage Kotagede masih belum maksimal dikarenakan beberapa indikator yang dalam penilaian masih kurang baik. Indikator tersebut seperti signage, pedestrian, teduhan, fasilitas penyeberangan, jalur sepeda jarak dan desain (untuk semua kalangan: difabel, anak-anak, lansia).

Special Region of Yogyakarta (DIY) is the second smallest province after Jakarta is located in the middle of Java Island, tourism is one of the flagship sectors with a variety of attractions is cultural (heritage), nature and special interests. DIY culture is thick and rich with historical relics have some heritage region (Region Heritage), one Kotagede. Relics of the past in the form of physical and non-physical serve as a tourist attraction in the region. Development of heritage tourism as an area that has not been structured properly and the integration of heritage tourism that is less, causing accessibility in Kotagede area less than the maximum. On the other hand the development of the region should consider provisions that have been assigned to the area as Kotagede Heritage Region. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of accessibility Kotagede as a heritage tourist areas and determine the direction of accessibility that is appropriate for the region. The data collection method using observation and questionnaires. The results showed that the ease of accessibility of heritage tourism Kotagede still not maximized due to several indicators in the assessment is still not good. Indicators such as signage, pedestrian, shade, pedestrian facilities, bicycle paths within and design (for all people: the disabled, children, the elderly).
