ANALISIS DAMPAK KEBIJAKAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN PARIWISATA TERHADAP KEHIDUPAN SOSIO-EKONOMI MASYARAKAT GILI TRAWANGAN

Saat ini pariwisata dihadapkan dengan tugas berat yaitu menjadi aktor utama dalam memberantas kemiskinan di tanah air. Isu pemberantasan kemiskinan melalui pariwisata harus segera diwujudkan dengan cara mengembangkan kawasan pariwisata potensial, sehingga dapat memberikan efek lipat ganda (trickle down effect) pada perekonomian masyarakat. Gili Trawangan menjadi contoh kawasan potensial yang bisa diandalkan untuk memberantas kemiskinan melalui pariwisata. Memiliki potensi pariwisata yang luar biasa besar menjadikan Gili Trawangan sebagai destinasi wisata primadona di NTB. Dari tahun ke tahun intensitas kunjungan wisatawan terus meningkat secara signifikan baik wisatawan mancanegara maupun domestik. Menggeliatnya aktivitas pariwisata di Gili Trawangan seharusnya menjadi alasan fundamental bagi pemerintah dan stakeholder terkait untuk menjadikan kawasan ini sebagai pusat perekonomian masyarakat agar cita-cita pemberantasan kemiskinan melalui pariwisata dapat terwujud. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh kebijakan dan kegiatan pariwisata terhadap kehidupan sosio-ekonomi masyarakat Gili Trawangan. Responden utama dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang bermukim di Gili Trawangan. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix method (kualitatif dan kuantitatif). Data primer penelitian dikumpulkan dengan cara penyebaran angket/kuesioner dan wawancara kepada masyarakat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, telah terbukti bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kebijakan pariwisata terhadap kehidupan sosio-ekonomi masyarakat. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,430 mengindikasikan bahwa ketika terjadi kenaikan kebijakan pariwisata sebesar 1%, maka kehidupan sosio-ekonomi juga akan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,430%. Hal ini berarti kebijakan pariwisata berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kehidupan sosio-ekonomi masyarakat Gili Trawangan. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil hipotesis yang telah dilakukan, telah terbukti bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan perkembangan pariwisata terhadap kehidupan sosio-ekonomi masyarakat. Koefisien regresi sebesar 0,356 mengindikasikan bahwa ketika terjadi peningkatan perkembangan pariwisata sebesar 1%, maka kehidupan sosio-ekonomi juga akan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,356%. Hal ini berarti perkembangan pariwisata berkontribusi dalam meningkatkan kehidupan sosio-ekonomi masyarakat Gili Trawangan. Kegiatan pariwisata memberikan pengaruh yang besar terhadap kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat dengan memberikan perubahan-perubahan yang bersifat meluas dalam ekonomi. Nowadays, tourism is faced with a formidable task as the main actors in combating poverty. The issue of poverty eradication through tourism should be realized by developing potential tourism areas, so as to give trickle down effect on the socio-economic life of society. Gili Trawangan into examples of potential areas that could be relied upon to eradicate poverty through tourism. Administratively, Gili Trawangan is located in the village of Gili Indah, North Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. Has an enormous tourism potential make this gili as excellent tourist destinations in NTB. Over the years the intensity of tourists visit continued to increase significantly both foreign and domestic. The increased of tourism activity was supposed to be the fundamental reasons for Governments and related stakeholders to make this area as a society economic center in order to realize the ideals of poverty eradication through tourism. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of tourism policies and activities to the socio-economic life of Gili Trawangan society. The main respondents in this study is the people who live in Gili Trawangan. The research method used is a mixed method (qualitative and quantitative). Primary data were collected by distributing a questionnaire and interviews to the public. The results showed that the hypothesis has been done, it has been proven that the tourism policy provides significant and positive influence on the communities socio-economic life. A regression coefficient of 0.430 indicates that when there is an increase of 1% tourism policy, the socio-economic life will also be increased by 0.430%. This means that tourism policies contribute to improving the socio-economic life of society Gili Trawangan. Furthermore, based on the hypothesis that has been done, it has been proven that there is a positive and significant impact of tourism on the development of society socio-economic life. A regression coefficient of 0.356 indicates that an increase in the development of tourism by 1%, then the socio-economic life will also be increased by 0.356%. This means the development of tourism contribute to improving the socio-economic life of Gili Trawangan society. Tourism activities have a considerable influence on the socio-economic conditions of the people by providing the changes are extended / spread throughout the economy. The occurrence of an increase in income and economic activity will also stimulate or cause other changes in the tourism sector. Keywords: tourism impact, socio-economic life, gili trawangan
