Hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial Keluarga dan Stress-related Growth pada Akuntan yang Bekerja di Kantor Akuntan Publik

Penelitian ini bertujan untuk menguji secara empirik hubungan antara dukungan sosial keluarga dan Stress Related Growth yang terjadi pada akuntan publik dibalik kondisi stressful mereka. Hal ini didasari pada beberapa kasus yang terjadi akibat stres yang dialami para akuntan, namun di sisi lain terdapat akuntan yang justru mengalami pertumbuhan positif akibat stres yang mereka alami. Penelitian ini melibatkan 105 akuntan publik yang bekerja di Provinsi Lampung dan Jakarta. Menggunakan uji korelasi product moment milik Pearson didapatkan koefisien korelasi sebesar r = 0,649 dengan p < 0,01 yang berarti bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial keluarga dan stress- related growth pada akuntan yang bekerja di kantor akuntan publik, namun perbedaan antara auditor dan konsultan pada tingkat stress-related growth serta tingkat dukungan sosial yang diterima tidak ditemukan dalam penelitian ini.

The purpose of this study was to test empirically the correlation between family social support and stress-related growth that occurs in public accountants under their stressful conditions. This is based on some cases that occur as a result of the stress that accountants experienced. However, on the other side there were accountants who experienced a positive change as a result of their stress. This study involved 105 public accountants who work in accounting firms in Lampung and Jakarta. Using the Pearson������¢���¯���¿���½���¯���¿���½s product moment correlation obtained correlation coefficient of r = 0,649 with p < 0,01 that means there was a significantly positive correlations between family social support and stress related growth within accountant who works in accounting firms, but the defference between the auditor and consultant at the stress-related growth level and the level of social support received was not found in this study.
