Penggunaan software Creo Parametric 2.0 di dalam industri manufaktur masih sangat minimal. Namun, faktanya software ini dapat dikembangkan dan digunakan sebagai software alternatif dalam perancangan suatu desain. Penggambaran ulang (Redrawing) body mobil Aston Martin DB9 menggunakan metode Interactive surface design. Pada metode ini, penggambaran ulang bentuk body mobil menggunakan teknik trace sketch images. Metode ini menggunakan cara mengimpor file gambar dari objek benda yang ada dan kemudian menempatkan file gambar tersebut pada setiap permukaan planar model. Setelah mencari dan memberikan skala pada gambar dengan benar, objek gambar tersebut dikunci. Setelah melakukan proses penggambaran ulang bentuk body mobil Aston Martin DB9 menggunakan software Creo Parametric 2.0 dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa metode penggambaran ulang bentuk body mobil dengan metode Interactive surface design dapat dijadikan sebagai software alternatif dalam perancangan desain bentuk benda. The used of Creo Parametric 2.0 software in the manufacturing industry still be minimal. In fact, this software can be developed as an alternative methodology redrawing car body. The methode of redrawing form of the Aston Martin DB9’s car body using the Interactive surface design. In this method there is a depiction of a technique that can be used in the redrawing of the car body that is Tracer Sketch Images. Tracer Sketch Images is the methods of Creo Parametric which can import an image file of the object you are trying to model. The system allows you to place the images file on any planar surface of the model. After locating and scaling the image properly, you can trace over key portions of the image while creating style curves. After the redrawing process Aston Martin DB9 body using parametric creo 2.0 software can take the conclusion that the method of depiction and 3D modeling construction body car by using the Interactive Surface in Creo Parametric 2.0 can be used as an alternative software to be applied in industry. Technicues of trace sketch image in Interactive Surface Design in Paramatric Creo 2.0 is one way that can be used to the remodeling (redrawing) the shape of the car body which uses four views as a reference image.
