PENGARUH PARTISIPASI PETERNAK BERBASIS KOMUNITAS YANG DIMODERASI MODAL SOSIAL TERHADAP EFEKTIVITAS PROGRAM PENGEMBANGAN SAPI POTONG DI KABUPATEN TEBO PROVINSI JAMBI

Penelitian tentang pengaruh partisipasi peternak berbasis komunitas yang dimoderasi modal sosial terhadap efektivitas program pengembangan peternakanan sapi potong di Kabupate Tebo Provinsi Jambi bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan tingkat modal sosial dan partisipasi peternak sapi potong di Kabupaten Tebo, mengukur tingkat efektivitas pengembangan peternakanan sapi potong, menganalisis pengaruh partisipasi peternak terhadap efektivitas program pengembangan peternakanan sapi potong serta menganalisis pengaruh partisipasi yang dimoderasi modal sosial terhadap efektivitas pengembangan peternakanan sapi potong di Kabupaten Tebo. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif terhadap 33 kelompok tani ternak yang aktif. Peternak sebagai unit analisis berjumlah 165 orang yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Penentuan skor dilakukan dengan skala likert. Untuk menganalisis partisipasi terhadap efektivitas program pengembangan peternakanan sapi potong digunakan regresi sederhana dan regresi hierarki. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat modal sosial dan tingkat partisipasi peternak sapi berada pada kategori sedang. Tingkat efektivitas program pengembangan sapi potong di Kabupaten Tebo berada pada kategori sedang. Partisipasi peternak berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap efektivitas program pengembangan peternakanan sapi potong. Demikian pula partisipasi yang dimoderasi modal sosial berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap program pengembangan peternakanan sapi potong di Kabupaten Tebo. Variabel modal sosial dapat berfungsi sebagai variabel moderator, bisa juga sebagai variabel independen.

The research of the influence of the participation of farmers, based on community moderated social capital, on the effectiveness of beef cattle breeder development in Tebo regency, Jambi province is aims to describe the level of social capital and the participation of the breeders, measure the effectiveness of the development of beef cattle breeding, analyze the influence of the participation of farmers the effectiveness of breeding beef cattle development program and to analyze the influence of participation moderated by social capital on the effectiveness of the development of beef cattle farms in Tebo. The method that used in this research is quantitative approach to 33 active farmer group. Breeders as the unit of analysis amounted to 165 people chosen by purposive sampling. Scoring is done using Likert scale. Simple regression and hierarchical regression were used to analyze the participation of the effectiveness of beef cattle breeding development program. The results showed that the level of social capital and the participation rate of cattle breeder is in middle category. The effectiveness of beef cattle development program in Tebo Regency is in middle category. Breeder participation has very significant effect on the effectiveness of beef cattle breeding development program. Similarly, the participation moderated by social capital has very significant effect on the development of beef cattle breeding programs in Tebo. Variable social capital can be served as both moderator variable or independent variables.
