Air Control Valve mempunyai peran yang penting dalam proses pengoperasian pembangkit, karena berfungsi untuk mengontrol jumlah aliran uap atau air sesuai dengan penggunaannya. Kinerja dari ACV akan berpengaruh pada proses yang sedang berjalan. Tujuan dari pembuatan Tugas Akhir ini adalah untuk menganalisa faktor apasaja yang dapat menyebabkan ketidaknormalan pada ACV dan menemukan solusi permasalahannya, serta mencegah kerugian finansial akibat dari ketidaknormalan pada ACV. Metodologi yang digunakan yaitu pengambilan data, perhitungan instalasi, perbandingan efisiensi dan analisa. Berdasarkan hasil analisa, adanya kandungan air pada supply udara dapat menyebabkan malfunction pada ACV, sehingga harus ada treatment khusus untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut. Beberapa treatment yang dapat dilakukan yaitu drain secara rutin, penambahan isolasi, dan penambahan Water Trap.Diharapkan dengan treatment tersebut dapat mencegah masuknya embun air ke ACV.

Air Control Valve has an important role in the process operation of the power plant, because it is to control the amount of steam flow or water, in accordance with its use. The performance of the ACV will affect the currently running process. The objective of this Project Assignment is to analyze the factors that can cause abnormalities in ACV & find a solution of the problem, and prevent financial loss as a result of abnormalities in the ACV. The methodology are data retrieval, installation calculations, efficiency calculations and analysis. Based on the analysis, the dew water content in the air supply can cause malfunction in ACV, so it must be a special treatment to prevent it happen. Some treatments can be applied, like regularly drain, adding insulation, and adding of water trap. The treatment is expected to prevent the entry of dew water into ACV.
