HUBUNGAN ANTARA RELIGIUSITAS DAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN CITRA TUBUH POSITIF PADA REMAJA AKHIR PEREMPUAN YANG BERJILBAB

Citra tubuh memiliki peranan yang penting terhadap perkembangan seseorang,terutama pada saat remaja. Di Indonesia, penelitian mengenai citra tubuh positif belum banyak dilakukan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara religiusitas dan dukungan sosial dengan citra tubuh positif pada remaja akhir perempuan yang berjilbab. Sebanyak 104 subjek berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Subjek adalah remaja akhir dengan usia 16-19 tahun. Berdasarkan analisis korelasi ganda, religiusitas dan dukungan sosial memiliki korelasi yang rendah dengan citra tubuh positif yaitu, sebesar R 0,115. Analisis lanjutan dengan menggunakan analisis korelasi parsial diperoleh hasil sebesar rx1y-x2 0,048 untuk religiusitas dengan citra tubuh positif. Sementara itu, korelasi dukungan sosial dengan citra tubuh positif memiliki nilai rx2y-x1 0,080. Korelasi yang rendah ini berkaitan dengan tidak adanya hubungan yang linear antara ketiga variabel tersebut yaitu, F=0,599; p>0,05 untuk citra tubuh positif dengan religiusitas dan F=1,094; p>0,05 untuk citra tubuh positif dengan dukungan sosial.

Body Image has an important role in someone's developmental stage, especially to adolescents. In Indonesia, researches about positive body image have not been conducted by many compared to any other researches body image or negative body image. The objective of this study is to determine relationship between religiosity and social support toward positive body image in late adolescent girls who wear hijab. The 104 subjects participated in this research. Their age range is around 16 to 19 years old. Based on multiple correlation analysis, the relation between religiosity and social support with positive body image is R 0,115. Further analysis by using partial correlation, showed the result of correlation between religiosity and body image which is rx1y-x2=0,048.Meanwhile, the degree correlation of social support and positive body image is rx2y-x1= 0,080. The low correlation may caused by the absence of a linear relationship between these three variables, which is (F=0,599; p>0,05) for the correlation between positive body image and religiosity, while, (F=0,599; p>0,05) for positive body image and social support.
