Perbedaan HMM<i>(Heavy Media Multitaskers)</i> dan LMM <i>(Light Media Multitaskers)</i> pada Tugas <i>Filtering</i> berdasarkan Jumlah <i>Distractor</i>

2016 | Skripsi | S1 PSIKOLOGIPenelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan HMM (Heavy Media Multitaskers; pelaku media multitasking berat) dan LMM (Light Media Multitaskers; pelaku media multitasking ringan) pada tugas filtering berdasarkan jumlah distractor. Subjek penelitian adalah 21 mahasiswa Psikologi angkatan 2013 yang terbagi menjadi 10 subjek HMM dan 11 subjek LMM. Hasil analisis mixed design ANOVA menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh media multitasking terhadap performa (F2,188; 14,197 = 0,653, p>0,05), akurasi (F1,662; 23,560 = 1,513, p>0,05), dan waktu reaksi (F1,431; 33,173 =1,281, p>0,05) pada tugas filtering. Tidak terdapat pula perbedaan antara kelompok HMM dan LMM dalam akurasi (F1, 19 = 7,725, p>0.05) dan waktu reaksi (F1, 19 = 2,762, p>0,05), namun ada perbedaan dalam performa (F1, 19 = 7,725, p<0,05) atensi pada tugas filtering berdasarkan jumlah distractor.
This study aimed to revealed the the difference between HMM (Heavy Media Multitaskers) and LMM (Light Media Multitaskers) by the number of distractor on filtering task. Twenty one participants were divided into two groups: HMM (10 participant) and LMM (11 participant). Mixed design Anova revealed no significant effect of media multitasking on performance (F2,188; 14,197 = 0,653, p>0,05), accuration (F1,662; 23,560 = 1,513, p>0,05), and reaction time (F1,431; 33,173 =1,281, p>0,05) on filtering task. Neither significant difference of HMM and LMM were found on accuracy (F1, 19 = 7,725, p>0,05) and reaction time (F1, 19 = 2,762, p>0,05). But there is the difference on performance (F1, 19 = 7,725, p<0,05) attention of HMM and LMM in filtering task by the number of distractor.
