DAMPAK PERUBAHAN FUNGSI HUTAN DI RPH BIBAL, BDH PANGGANG TERHADAP INTERAKSI MASYARAKAT PADA SUMBERDAYA HUTAN

Perubahan fungsi hutan di RPH Bibal, BDH Panggang diduga berdampak pada interaksi masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan sumberdaya hutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap perubahan fungsi dan status hutan, mengetahui bentuk-bentuk interaksi masyarakat sebelum dan setelah perubahan fungsi hutan, dan mengetahui dampak perubahan fungsi hutan terhadap interaksi masyarakat dengan sumberdaya hutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Girisuko di wilayah RPH Bibal, BDH Panggang. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode survei danteknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa masyarakat mengetahui perubahan fungsi dan status hutanbaik status kepemilikan, instansi pengelola hutan, larangan membuka hutan dan batas kawasan hutan. Bentuk-bentuk interaksi masyarakatsebelum perubahan fungsi hutan yaitu adanya perburuan, pertanian, pengambilan kayu bakar, obat-obatan, dan mengambil hijauan pakan ternak. Sedangkan setelah perubahan alih fungsi hutan terjadi penambahan interaksi masyarakat berupa pemanfaatan lahan sebagai obyek wisata.Perubahan fungsi hutan juga berdampak pada perubahan intensitas interaksi masyarakat dengan sumberdaya hutan, yaitu penurunan pada pemburuan hewan, pengambilan hijauan pakan ternak, penebangan kayu dan lahan pertanian.

The change of forest function in RPH Bibal, BDH Panggang was predicted to be having impact to the interaction of local community towards the forest resources management. The purpose of this research was to identify : peoples knowledge on the change of forest function and status, the forms of social interaction before and after the change of forest function, and the impact of the change of forest function towards the interaction between people and forest resources. This research was conducted in Desa Girisuko, in the area of RPH Bibal, BDH Panggang. The research used survey method, while sampling method was conducted through interview, observation, and documentation. The research result shows that people recognised the change of function and status of forest, which covers the ownership status, the forest management institute, the prohibition of forest clearing, and forest borders. The forms of local community interaction before the change of forest function is hunting, agriculture, fuelwood cultivation, medicine, and forage cultivation. While after the change of the forest function, the local community interaction expands in utilizing the land for tourist attraction. The change of forest function also causes the change of intensity of interaction between local community with the forest resources, which is the decrease on animal hunting, fodder, logging, and agriculture.
