PERAN PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT TERHADAP JOB BURNOUT MELALUI MEDIASI PSYCHOLOGICAL CAPITAL

Perceived organizational support dapat membuat anggota polisi merasa dihargai dan diperhatikan sehingga diprediksi mampu menurunkan tingkat job burnout. Psychological capital juga dianggap dapat mempengaruhi job burnout karena menciptakan kondisi emosional dan penilaian positif pada diri sendiri maupun lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji peran perceived organizational support terhadap job burnout dengan mediasi psychological capital. Responden dari penelitian ini adalah 195 anggota Polda Metro Jaya pada fungsi reserse dan atau fungsi lalu lintas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif melalui survei dengan menyebar skala perceived organizational support, skala job burnout dan skala psychological capital. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik multiple regression analysis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa peran perceived organizational support terhadap job burnout dimediasi secara penuh oleh psychological capital dengan nilai koefisien regresi path c� = -0,152 yang lebih kecil dari koefisien regresi path c = -0,322 dan p>0,01. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peran variabel independen perceived organizational support terhadap variabel dependen job burnout berkurang dan menjadi tidak signifikan setelah mengontrol variabel mediator psychological capital Kata kunci: perceived organizational support, job burnout, psychological capital
Job burnout is a psychological syndrome that can cause psychological distress and physiological disorders that could potentially be experienced by members of the police. Perceived organizational support can make police officers feel valued and cared so predictable able to reduce the level of job burnout. Psychological capital is also considered to affect the job burnout because it creates a positive emotional state and judgment to themselves and the surrounding environment. This study aims to examine the role of perceived organizational support to job burnout by mediating psychological capital. Respondents of this study are 195 members of the Jakarta Police on the function of detectives and traffic. This study uses quantitative research through surveys with spread scale of perceived organizational support, job burnout scale and the scale of psychological capital. The data analysis was done by using multiple regression analysis. The analysis showed that the role of perceived organizational support to job burnout is mediated entirely by psychological capital with regression coefficient path c '= -0.152 which is smaller than the path of regression coefficients c = -0.322 and p> 0.01. This suggests that the role of perceived organizational support of independent variables on the dependent variable job burnout is reduced and becomes insignificant after controlling for psychological capital as mediator variable.
