Perusahaan besar membutuhkan teknologi informasi untuk melaksanakan strategi bisnisnya, demikian dengan PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. Sebelumnya perusahaan menggunakan sistem Ellipse sebagai sistem pendukung pelaksanaan proses bisnis, namun pada akhir tahun 2011 perusahaan ini berahli ke System Application and Product in data processing (SAP). Perubahan yang terjadi mempengaruhi dalam banyak aspek, salah satunya adalah aplikasi teknologi informasi dalam hal ini adalah sistem Flight Information Management. Saat ini kinerja sistem Flight Information Management PT Vale Indonesia Tbk belum memberikan benefit sesuai yang diharapkan, sebab sistem masih membuat karyawan kesulitan dalam penggunannya serta informasi yang diberikan masih kurang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode HOT-Fit yang dikembangkan oleh Yusof et al. dan dilakukan secara kuantitatif dengan 97 responden pengguna sistem Flight Information Management di PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk Soroako serta dianalisis menggunakan metode SEM-PLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dari 9 hipotesis yang diajukan terdapat 2 hipotesis yang ditolak dan selebihnya diterima. Hipotesis yang ditolak pada penelitian ini adalah kualitas sistem tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap penggunaan sistem dan kualitas informasi tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap kepuasan pengguna. Hipotesis yang diterima yaitu struktur & lingkungan organisasi mempengaruhi penggunaan sistem. Selain itu penggunaan sistem juga dipengaruhi oleh kualitas informasi, kualitas layanan. Sedangkan kepuasan pengguna dipengaruhi oleh kualitas sistem, kualitas layanan. Sedangkan manfaat bersih dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan sistem dan kepuasan pengguna.

A big company needs information technology to implement its business strategy, so does PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. Previously, PT. Vale Indonesia used the Ellipse system as a system to support the implementation of business processes. By the end of 2011 the company was move to System Application and Products in data processing (SAP). That change affect many aspects, including the application of information technology in this case is the Flight Information Management system. Currently the Flight Information Management system performance of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk does not provide benefits as expected, because the system still makes employee difficulties in its use as well as the information provided is still lacking. This study uses the HOT-Fit method developed by Yusof et al. and performed quantitatively with 97 user respondents Flight Information Management System in PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk Soroako and analyzed using SEM-PLS. These results indicate that the hypothesis of 9 there are two hypotheses were rejected and the rest received. The hypothesis is rejected in this study is the quality of the system is a positive influence on the use of the system and the quality of information is not a positive influence on user satisfaction. The most accepted hypothesis that structural and organizational environment affects the use of the system. Besides the use of the system is also influenced by the quality of information, quality of service. While user satisfaction is influenced by the quality system, the quality of service. While the net benefit is affected by system use and user satisfaction.
