Latar Belakang: Koordinasi lintas sektor merupakan hal yang penting dalam pengembangan kota sehat. Kota sehat pertama kali dicanangkan oleh Menteri Dalam Negeri tahun 1998 dan diberlakukan pada tahun 2005 dengan keluarnya surat keputusan bersama Menteri Dalam Negeri dan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor: 34 tahun 2005 dan Nomor: 1138/Menkes/PB/VIII/2005 tentang pedoman penyelenggaraan kabupaten/kota sehat. Kota Yogyakarta telah memperoleh penghargaan swasti saba wistara tingkat nasional pada tahun 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013 dan 2015, atas hasil kerja sama antara Forum Kota Sehat dan Tim Pembina Kota Sehat. Tujuan Penelitian: Untuk mengevaluasi mekanisme koordinasi lintas sektor Forum Kota Sehat Kota Yogyakarta dan mengetahui strategi yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan koordinasi lintas sektor. Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan metode kualitatif menggunakan rancangan studi kasus. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah Ketua Forum Kota Sehat, Sekretaris Forum Kota Sehat dan subjek tambahan dari dinas terkait sebanyak 7 orang sesuai dengan jabatan kedinasan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa pedoman wawancara mendalam dengan pertanyaan terbuka dilengkapi dengan bukti-bukti seperti SK Walikota tentang tim Forum Kota Sehat dan pedoman penyelenggaraan kabupaten/kota sehat. Hasil: Kota sehat yang dipersepsikan oleh tim Forum Kota Sehat adalah pemberdayaan masyarakat, pemberdayaan kewilayahan, mewujudkan masyarakat yang sehat, membudayakan hidup bersih dan sehat, dukungan promosi pariwisata untuk kota sehat. Kegiatan kota sehat meliputi rapat pertemuan, usulan kelurahan siaga , menentukan prioritas tatanan unggulan untuk di lakukan pembinaan oleh FKS dan tim pembina kota sehat. Saling ketergantungan antara tim Forum Kota Sehat dan tim pembina kota sehat dilakukan dengan komunikasi serta pengambilan keputusan program kota sehat dalam pemilihan tatanan yang diunggulkan dengan selalu berkoordinasi, sehingga ego sektoral dalam penyelenggaraan kota sehat tidak muncul lagi dan bekerja sesuai dengan tugas pokok dan fungsi masing-masing SKPD. Strategi pengembangan kota sehat menunjukkan koordinasi lintas sektor dengan melibatkan dukungan dari walikota, tim Forum Kota Sehat serta kepala-kepala SKPD untuk menentukan lokasi-lokasi unggulan dalam pemilihan tatanan program kota sehat. Kesimpulan: Penyelenggaraan program kota sehat memerlukan adanya komitmen dari pengurus tim Forum Kota Sehat yang ditetapkan dengan surat keputusan wali kota dan pembentukan sekretariat untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan kota sehat, pembentukan badan hukum untuk mendapatkan dana hibah dari lembaga pemerintah dan swasta.

The subject in this methodology were the Chairman forum of the healthy city, the Secretary forum of the healthy city and addition subject from the related official as many as seven people who is appropriate the official position. The instrument that use is the deepest interview directive with open question that complete the proof such as Mayor SK on forum team of the healthy city and directive implementation regency or the healthy city.
