Laporan tugas akhir ini berjudul Pengolahan Arsip IMB (Izin Mendirikan Bangunan) di Dinas Perizinan Kota Yogyakarta Tujuan laporan ini untuk mengetahui proses pengolahan arsip IMB di Dinas Perizinan Kota Yogyakarta. Pengolahan IMB tersebut terdiri dari pemberkasan, penyimpanan, temu kembali, serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam pengolahan arsip IMB. Pengumpulan data dalam laporan ini dilakukan dalam tiga metode yaitu metode observasi-partisipasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Metode Observasi partisipasi merupakan pengamatan dengan terjun langsung kelapangan. Metode wawancara merupakan pengumpulan data dengan interview dengan narasumber untuk melengkapi data yang dibutuhkan. Studi pustaka dilakukan untuk menghimpun informasi dengan sumber buku-buku kearsipan. Kesimpulan dari laporan ini adalah pengolahan arsip IMB di Dinas Perizinan mulai dari proses pemberkasan sampai dengan proses penyimpanan. Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pengolahan arsip IMB di Dinas Perizinan Kota Yogyakarta adalah tersebarnya ruang penyimpanan arsip sehingga arsip yang di simpan tersebar. Kurangnya ruang penyimpanan arsip juga menjadi kendala sehingga arsip tidak disimpan secara rapi. Sehingga penambahan ruangan penyimpanan dan pemusatan penyimpanan perlu ditambah untuk mendukung aktivitas.

This final project entitled The Processing of IMB (IzinMendirikanBangunan) Records InDinasPerizinan Kota Yogyakarta. The purposes of the final report is to find out the processing the IMB records of DinasPerizinan Kota Yogyakarta. The processing of the IMB records consist of filling system, storage system, retrieval, as well as the problem encountered in the processing of IMB records. There are three methods which used in this final report namely, observation participation method, interviews method, and library study method. Observation participation is a direct surveillance activity which is conducted by entering the field of study. The interview method is a method to collect data by interviewing informants for data completeness. The library study method was conducted to collect information with from archival books. The conclusion of this report is processing IMB records in DinasPerizinan began the process of filing until the storage process. The obstacles faced in the processing IMB records in Dinas Perizinan Kota Yogyakarta is the spread of records storage space so filesare spread. Lack of archive storage space is also an obstacle so that the records is not kept tidy. So the addition of storage space and storage centralization needs to be added to support the activity.
