Perilaku peduli lingkungan merupakan tindakan penting untuk menjaga kualitas lingkungan hidup. Pengaruh faktor-faktor yang membentuk perilaku peduli lingkungan dapat dijelaskan menurut kerangka rasional dan moral. Faktor rasional adalah sikap, norma subjektif, kendali perilaku yang dipersepsi, dan intensi, serta faktor moral adalah norma personal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh positif sikap, norma subjektif, kendali perilaku yang dipersepsi, norma personal, dan intensi terhadap perilaku peduli lingkungan. Hubungan antar variabel penelitian dibangun melalui model perilaku peduli lingkungan dalam kerangka rasional dan moral. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Subjek penelitian adalah 268 mahasiswa di kota Yogyakarta, Malang, dan Surabaya. Pengambilan data dengan skala intensi, skala sikap, skala norma subjektif, skala kendali perilaku yang dipersepsi, skala norma personal, dan skala perilaku peduli lingkungan dari hasil pengamatan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan structural equation model, diperoleh nilai chi-square=114,724; nilai GFI=0,949, nilai RMSEA=0,030 ; CFI = 0,983. Hasil menunjukkan hipotesis diterima, ada pengaruh positif sikap, norma subyektif, kendali perilaku yang dipersepsi, norma personal, dan intensi terhadap perilaku peduli lingkungan. Faktor-faktor dari kerangka rasional dan moral secara simultan mampu menjelaskan perilaku peduli lingkungan pada mahasiswa.

Pro-environmental behavior is an important action used to maintain the quality of the environment. The influences of factors that form the pro-environmental behavior can be explained through rational and moral framework. Attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, and intention are the rational framework. While the moral factor is personal norm. The objective of this research is to know whether there is positive influence from the attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, personal norm, and intention toward pro-environmental behavior. The relation between variables is constructed through the model of pro-environmental behavior within rational and moral framework. This research is a quantitative research that uses survey method. The subjects of the research are 268 college university students from Yogyakarta, Malang, and Surabaya. Data was collected using the scale of intention, attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavioral control, personal norm, while behavioral observation was done through the scale of pro-environmental behavior. Data was analyzed using structural equation model with the value of chi-square = 114.724; value of GFI = 0.949 ; value of RMSEA = 0.030. The result shows that the hypothesis is accepted, that there is positive influences of attitude, subjective norm,perceived behavioral control, personal norm, and intention toward pro-environmental behavior. The factors of rational and moral framework can simultaneously describe the pro-environmental behavior of the university students.
