ANALISA SISTEM KERJA DAN SISTEM PROTEKSI PELUMASAN GRAVITASI PADA POROS PEMBANGKITAN LISTRIK TIPE HORISONTAL PLTA LODOYO

Dengan perkembangan teknologi sistem produksi modern, sistem lubrikasi menjadi hal yang penting. Karya tulis ini membahas sistem lubrikasi gravitasi dan sistem proteksi yang ada pada pembangkit listrik tenaga air dengan poros horisontal. Besarnya investasi yang dibutuhkan mengharuskan instalasi sistem proteksi yang baik. Sistem pelumasan gravitasi menggunakan pompa sebagai komponen utama dalam sistem aliran kerjanya. Di PLTA Lodoyo, minyak pelumas yang digunakan adalah Shell Turbo T46 yang sesuai standar untuk minyak pelumas poros turbin. Sistem kerja tersebut memungkinan masakah-masalah yang timbul pada sistem pelumasan ini. Sistem proteksi diperlukan untuk meminimalisir masalah yang timbul pada sistem seperti kontaminasi air, adanya geram, kevakuman pompa, dan level minyak pelumas yang tidak sesuai standar. Sistem proteksi pada sistem lubrikasi dapat menggunakan relai proteksi, sensor kontaminasi air, magnetic stem, dan menggunakan sistem minyak pelumas itu sendiri untuk menghindari air yang masuk.

With Development of technology on modern production, the lubricating system is an important thing. This writing script about gravity lubricating system and its protecting system is use for introducing about the lubricating system and the protection system in the water electricity station with horizontal shaft. This is need big investment to operate, so protection system is important. Gravity Lubricating System is using oil pump as the main flow system. That oil pump will pump out the oil from sump tank to gravity tank. The lubricating oil will flow to sump tank again and it is passing the shaft. Shaft on the PLTA Lodoyo is the sample. In the PLTA Lodoyo, the lubricating system use Shell Turbo T46 that compatible with the standart for turbin lubrication. It is possible to have some problem in the system. Protection System must be installed on lubricating system to minimalize the problem that probability happen on the system so, it can’t be so serious problem. The problem is like water comtamining, impurity, vacuum condition of pump, and the level of lubricate oil is out of standart. The protection system can build by using relay protection, water comtamining sensor, magnetic stem, and use the pressure of the oil to protect the system from water.
