EVALUASI PERENCANAAN QUARRY AREA PEMBANGUNAN BENDUNGAN GONDANG KABUPATEN KARANGANYAR

Pembangunan Bendungan Gondang merupakan solusi atas permasalahan ketersediaan air baku dan sistem irigasi yang akan dimanfaatkan untuk sebagian besar wilayah Kabupaten Sragen dan Kabupaten Karanganyar. Bendungan Gondang merupakan bendungan dengan tipe urugan, dimana material pengisi tubuh bendungan meliputi material tanah, pasir, kerikil, dan batuan. Material tanah diambil dari lokasi borrow area, sedangkan material batuan diambil dari lokasi quarry. Evaluasi perencanaan lokasi quarry Pembangunan Bendungan Gondang meliputi hasil perhitungan kebutuhan material batuan untuk mengisi bagian rip-rap, jumlah kandungan dan kualitas batu yang terdapat dalam lokasi quarry, target produksi yang harus tercapai, serta hitungan kebutuhan alat berat (alat muat dan alat angkut) untuk proses earth moving . Lokasi quarry pembangunan Bendungan Gondang terletak di Dusun Ilo-ilo. Material batu yang terkandung sebesar 147659 m3 dan kebutuhan batu yang dibutuhkan sebesar 104737,80 m3. Dilihat dari jenis dan sifat fisiknya material batu yang terkandung sudah memenuhi kriteria sebagai bahan pengisi tubuh bendungan dan dengan tebal lapisan tanah terluar sedalam 2,2 m. Dari banyaknya kebutuhan material batu, jika mengasumsikan target produksi per harinya sebanyak 1600 m3/hari maka alat angkut yang dibutuhkan sebanyak 1 unit whell loader merk Caterpillar tipe 950GC, 3 unit excavator merk Komatsu tipe PC200, dan 18 unit dump truck merk Hino Dutro 130HD.

Gondang Dam construction is a solution towards the problem of raw water availability and irrigation system that will be used for most areas of Sragen District and Karanganyar District. Gondang Dam is an embankmment dam, in which there are materials inside the dam, including soil, sand, gravel, and rock. The soils are taken from the soil borrow area, meanwhile the rocks are taken from the quarry site. The evaluation of quarry location planning in the Gondang Dam Construction includes the calculation results of the rock material needs to fill out the rip-rap part, the amount of content and quality of the stone found in the location of the quarry, production targets to be achieved, as well as the calculation of the heavy equipment (unloading tools and transport equipment) for the earth moving process. The quarry development of Gondang Dam is located in the Ilo-ilo village. The stone materials are contained by 147 659 m3 and the stones required are 104,737.80 m3. Based on the type and physical properties of the stone materials, they have met the criteria as the filler of the dam with a thick outer layer of soil as deep as 2.2 m. Of the many needs of stone materials, if the assumed target of production per day is as much as 1600 m3/day, then the conveyance takes as much as 1 unit of Caterpillar wheel loader type 950GC, 3 units of Komatsu excavator type PC200, and 18 units of Hino Dutro 130HD dump trucks.
