Daerah tangkapan air (DTA) berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap sumber mata air.Mata air banyak dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari.Salah satu sumber mata air yang saat ini masih dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat yaitu Mata Air Sisir.Alasan masyarakat memilih sumber air yang berasal dari mata air karena keadaan geologis yang tidak memungkinkan.Saat ini kebutuhan air untuk memenuhi aktivitas penduduk makin meningkat.Peningkatan itu terjadi bukan hanya karena penduduk yang bertambah, tetapi juga karena meningkatnya aktivitas masyarakat yang membutuhkan air.Oleh karena itu, untuk menghadapi meningkatnya kebutuhan air maka perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih lanjut mengenai potensi mata air dan kebutuhan air masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari (domestik, ternak dan non domestik).Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui vegetasi penyusun kawasan daerah tangkapan air, mengetahui potensi mata air, dan besar pemanfaatan masyarakat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada Mata Air Sisir yang masuk dalam kawasan Balai Taman Nasional Gunung Merapi, STPN wilayah 1, Resort Dukun.Penentuan daerah tangkapan air (DTA) dengan bantuan garis kontur. Perhitungan debit mata air dilakukan dengan metode volumetricpada musim kemarau dan penghujan. Perhitungan kebutuhan masyarakat untuk kebutuhan domestik, ternak, dan non domestik dilakukan dengan metode kuisioner.Adapun data pendukung lainnya seperti data jumlah penduduk, mata pencaharian, dan data deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh data daerah tangkapan air Sisir memiliki luas 65,7 Ha. Potensi mata air pada musim penghujan sebesar 765.504 liter/hari.Total kebutuhan air masyarakat 56.151,8 liter/hari, terdiri dari kebutuhan domestik 55.423,8 liter/hari, kebutuhan non domestik 400 liter/hari, dan kebutuhan ternak 328 liter/hari. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada saat ini potensi Mata Air Sisir dapat memenuhi total kebutuhan masyarakat.

The catchment area (DTA) has direct impact on water resources. Fountainhead commonly used by communities to meet their daily needs. One of the fountainhead that is still used by the community is Mata Air Sisir. Communities choose the source of water comes from the springs due to the impossibility of geological circumstances. Currently the water needs to meet people's activities increased. The increase has occurred not only because of the population increase, but also because of the increased activity of the people who need the water. Therefore, to address the growing need for water it is necessary to conduct further research on the potential of the springs and the water needs of the community to meet the daily needs (domestic, livestock and non-domestic). The purpose of this study was to determine the vegetation constituent regional catchment area, knowing the potential of the springs, and a great use of the community to meet their daily needs. This research was conducted Mata Air Sisir included in the National Park area of Mount Merapi, STPN region 1, Dukun Resort. The determination of the catchment area (DTA) with the help of contour lines. Calculation of eye discharge water carried by volumetric methods in the dry season and rainy season. Calculation of community needs for domestic, livestock, and non-domestic conducted by questionnaire method. The other supporting data such as data population, livelihood, and descriptive data. From the results of the research, the data showed Sisir’s water catchment area has an area of 65.7 hectares. Potential springs in the rainy season amounted to 765 504 liters / day. The total water needs of society 56151.8 liter / day, consisting of domestic consumption 55423.8 liter / day, non-domestic requirement of 400 liters / day, and livestock needs 328 liters / day. It can be concluded that at this time the potential of Mata Air Sisir can meet the total needs of the community.
