Strategi Bertahan Hidup Mantan Pekerja Tetap PT Kertas Blabak Pasca Perusahaan Dinyatakan Pailit

Melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja merupakan hak perusahaan. Pemutusan hubungan kerja yang dialami oleh seluruh pekerja tetap PT. Kertas Blabak terjadi karena status pailit perusahaan. Status pailit mengharuskan perusahaan menghentikan segala kegiataan yang berhubungan dengan perusahaan dan kemudian disusul dengan keputusan tentang pemutusan hubungan kerja pada seluruh pekerja tetap. Pemutusan hubungan kerja pada akhirnya menimbulkan permasalahan bagi pekerja serta keluarga. Pendapatan yang terhenti akibat adanya pemutusan hubungan kerja berpengaruh pada proses pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga. Dalam mengkaji fenomena strategi bertahan hidup mantan pekerja tetap setelah mengalami pemutusan hubungan kerja, dilakukan studi di Kelurahan Mungkid. Informan penelitian ini adalah mantan pekerja tetap PT. Kertas Blabak. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi dan bahan tertulis atau dokumen. Dokumentasi berupa foto dan rekaman juga digunakan pada penelitian ini. Pengambilan informan penelitian dilakukan dengan purposive. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemutusan hubungan kerja berpengaruh pada proses pemenuhan kebutuhan keluarga. mantan pekerja tetap melakukan tindakan sebagai upaya untuk bertahan hidup pasca terjadi pemutusan hubungan kerja. Strategi bertahan hidup dipertimbangakan dengan kemampuan masing-masing mantan pekerja tetap. Contohnya seperti bekerja serabutan, melakukan pengetatan pengeluaran keluarga, mencari pinjaman dan menciptakan peluang kerja sendiri. Strategi lain dengan memanfaatkan jariangan keluarga dan pertemanan.

Each company has an authority to take a layoff. Layoffs were experienced by the workers in PT. Kertas Blabak due to company bankruptcy. This condition forced the company to stop all of the company activity and ended up with the layoff for all the workers. Layoff,then inflicted a new problem for the former workers, since they were no longer having regular income which has an impact on how they fulfill their daily needs. To assess the workers survival strategy after the layoff, investigator took Kelurahan Mungkid as a place for this study. Informants of this study were formerregularworkers of PT. Kertas Blabak and chosen by purposive method. In this study, investigator collected the data through interviews, observations, and written materials or documents. Documentation such as photos and recording of the interview were also used in this study. Result of this study showed that layoff affected the process of fulfilling workers family needs. The former workers took an action as an effort to survive after the layoff. Strategy were considered by their capability such as doing an odd jobs, tighten on spending their money, look for a loan, and created their own carrier opportunity.Another survival strategy the former workers used was utilizing their connection from family or friends.
