PERANCANGAN MEJA SEALER YANG ERGONOMIS UNTUK MENGURANGI KELUHAN FISIK PEKERJA

Pekerja dalam melakukan pekerjaannya harus didukung oleh fasilitas kerja yang memadai, aman dan nyaman. Fasilitas kerja tersebut harus sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan memperhatikan tingkat kenyamanannya. Berdasarkan observasi di empat industri, permasalahan yang muncul berada di stasiun kerja pembungkusan bagian sealing yaitu memerlukan suatu fasilitas kerja yang ergonomis yaitu berupa meja sealer. Pada stasiun ini dikerjakan dengan posisi badan yang tidak ergonomis sehingga tidak sesuai dan mengakibatkan cepat lelah serta penegangan otot (strain). Oleh karena itu, dilakukan perancangan fasilitas kerja yang dapat memperbaiki posisi kerja dan kenyamanan pekerja. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis stasiun sealing, mengetahui keluhan fisik pekerja, mendesain meja sealer serta menguji apakah meja sealer dapat mengurangi keluhan fisik yang dialami pekerja. Metode penelitian menggunakan kuesioner Nordic Body Map dan metode REBA. Untuk Nordic Body Map (NBM) adalah penilaian subyektif dengan menggunakan peta untuk mengetahui bagian otot yang mengalami keluhan. Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) untuk menilai posisi kerja atau postur leher, punggung, lengan, pergelangan tangan, dan kaki seorang operator. Selain itu metode ini juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor coupling, beban eksternal yang ditopang oleh tubuh serta aktivitas pekerja. Sampel penelitian dilakukan di UKM daerah Magelang antara lain UD Rahmat, UD Classic 88, UKM Mekar Jaya, dan UKM Cahaya Tidar. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, perancangan meja sealer yang telah dibuat untuk mengatasi keluhan fisik pekerja berhasil menurunkan keluhan fisik sebesar 18 %. Pengujian T Test telah dilakukan dan hasil menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000, 0.083, 0.002 dan 0.002. Dari hasil tersebut menunjukkan adanya meja sealer menurunkan keluhan fisik pekerja secara signifikan.

Workers in their work should be supported by adequate working facilities, safe and comfortable. The working facilities must be match with the needs and considering the level of comfort. Based on observations in four industries, the problems appear to be at work station packing sealing parts that require a facility of an ergonomic work table sealer. At this station worked with the position of the body that are not ergonomically so it is not appropriate and it causes rapid fatigue and muscle tension (strain). Therefore, the facility design work done to improve the position of workers and worker comfort. The purpose of this research is to analyze the sealing work station, knowing the physical complaints of workers, designing table sealer and testing the table sealer can reduce physical complaints experienced workers. The research method using questionnaire Nordic Body Map and REBA method. Nordic Body Map (NBM) is a subjective assessment by using the map to find out which part of muscle that have complaints. Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) to assess the working position or the posture of the neck, back, arms, wrists, and feet of an operator. In addition, this method is affected by the coupling factor, external load which is supported by the body as well as the activity of the workers. Sample research conducted in UKM Magelang regional that is UD Rahmat, UD Classic 88, UKM Mekar Jaya, and UKM Cahaya Tidar. From the research that has been done, the design table sealer that has been made to overcome the physical complaints of workers managed to reduce physical complaints by 18%. The T-Tests have been conducted and the results showed a significance value of 0.000, 0.083, 0.002 and 0.002. From these results indicate the existence of sealer table can reduce worker's physical complaints significantly.
