PERANCANGAN DAN SIMULASI PADA UNIT EMERGENCY SECTION DENGAN MENAMBAHKAN PARAMETER SINKRONISASI UNTUK MENCEGAH KEHILANGAN DAYA (POWER LOSS) DI PLTU BANTEN 3 LONTAR

2016 | Tugas Akhir | D3 TEKNIK ELEKTRO SVUnit Emergency Section adalah suatu panel busbar yang digunakan untuk menyalurkan daya guna keperluan peralatan penting unit 380/220V, seperti Turbine Lube Oil, Jacking Oil Pump, dan Turning Gear. Unit Emergency Section memperoleh suplai daya dari Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) dan Unit PC Section, baik Unit Auxiliary Transformer (UAT) maupun Start-Up Standby Transformer (SST). Pada kondisi normal operasi, Unit Emergency Section memperoleh suplai daya dari Unit PC Section (UAT), sedangkan Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) beroperasi ketika unit mengalami gangguan (blackout). Pada saat suplai Unit PC Section (UAT) mengalami kehilangan daya, maka EDG secara otomatis akan langsung memback-up suplai daya ke Unit Emergency Section, sampai suplai daya Unit PC Section (SST) masuk menyuplai panel busbar Unit Emergency Section. Namun, pemindahan suplai daya dari EDG ke Unit PC Section saat ini masih kurang handal, dikarenakan Unit Emergency Section akan mengalami kehilangan daya (power loss) dalam beberapa waktu. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penyinkronan antara EDG dan Unit PC Section dengan menambahkan parameter sinkronisasi, sehingga kontinuitas daya pada Unit Emergency Section dapat terjaga dan operator tidak perlu melakukan start peralatan Unit Emergency Section kembali.
Emergency Unit Section is a busbar panel for distributing power to the essential equipment unit 380 / 220V, such as Turbine Lube Oil, Jacking Oil Pump, and Turning Gear. The Emergency Unit Section is supplied from the Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) and PC unit Section, both units Auxiliary Transformer (UAT) and Start-Up Standby Transformer (SST). In condition of normal operation, Emergency Unit Section is supplied from PC Unit Section (UAT), while the Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) operates when the unit is disturbance (blackout). In condition a supply PC Unit Section (UAT) experienced a loss of power, the EDG will automatically direct back-up supply power to the Emergency Unit Section, until the supply power PC Unit Section (SST) supplies busbar panel Emergency Unit Section. However, the power supply transfer from EDG to Unit PC Section is less reliable, due to the power loss at the Emergency Unit Section in some time. At the Emergency Unit Section it is necessary for a synchronization between EDG and PC Unit Section, so that the continuity of the power at the Emergency Unit Section can be awakened and the operator does not need to start equipment Emergency Unit Section again.
