INTISARI Tugas akhir ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa penerapan standar operasional prosedur press release and news di webiste Bandara Internasional Adisutjipto Yogyakarta. Website ini dioperasikan oleh karyawan dari divisi hubungan masyarakat PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta. Press release and news yang berada di situs website bertujuan untuk memberi informasi tentang perusahaan kepada masyarakat. Tulisan ini menjelaskan tentang peran dari hubungan masyarakat. Selain itu, saya menggunakan standar operasional prosedur press release and news dan standar operasional prosedur dokumentasi dari karyawan divisi hubungan masyarakat PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta. Saya melakukan magang di PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta selama dua bulan (1 Februari 2016 hingga 1 April 2016) yang memudahkan saya untuk mendapatkan akses untuk memperoleh data. Saya melakukan observasi secara langsung, wawancara, mencatat, dokumentasi, dan sumber-sumber literatur. Untuk mengembangkan tulisan ini, saya menggunakan ide dari Budihardjo dan Wilcox & Cameron. Dalam memberikan informasi kepada masyarakat, karyawan hubungan masyrakat membuat press release melalui situs website. Untuk ini , mereka harus menerapkan standar operasional prosedur (SOP) yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Dengan menerapkan SOP, prestasi kerja karyawan dalam hal hubungan masyarakat akan tetap terstruktur dan terorganisir dengan baik.

ABSTRACT This graduating paper aims to analyze standard operational procedure of press release and news implementation on the website of Adisujtipto International Airport Yogyakarta. The website is operated by the public relation officer of PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta. Press release and news that are released on the website aim to give information about the company to the public. This paper also describes the responsibilities of public relation officer. Further, I provide standard operational procedure of press release & news and standard operational procedure of documentation from public relations officer PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta. I undertook an internship program for two months (February 1st to April 1st, 2016) in PT Angkasa Pura I (Persero) Yogyakarta which enabled me to get access to obtain data. I did participant observation, interviewed, field notes, documentation, and literature sources. To develop this paper for academic purposes, I employ the idea from Budihardjo and Wilcox & Cameron. In giving information to public, the public relation officer make press release and news through website. For this, they need to apply the standard operational procedure (SOP) as set by the company. By implementing the SOP, the work performance of the officers in terms of public relation would remain well-structured and organized.
