PEMBUATAN PETA NILAI JASA LINGKUNGAN SERAPAN KARBONDIOKSIDA DI KABUPATEN MERAUKE DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE INVEST

Merauke adalah sebuah kabupaten dibagian selatan Provinsi Papua.Kabupaten Merauke merupakan salah satu kabupaten di Indonesia yang masih memiliki wilayah dengan jumlah tutupan hutan tinggi. Luas wilayah Kabupaten Merauke sekitar 45.071 Km2 dengan hutan rawa sebagai penutup lahan terbanyak. Hutan rawa yang tidak dimanfaatkan dengan baik akan kehilangan fungsi sebagai penyerap dan penyimpan karbon yang ada di bumi. Salah satu cara agar pemanfaatan lahan dapat dijalankan dengan baik oleh masyarakat adalah penerapan nilai jasa lingkungan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung besar nilai jasa lingkungan yang dihasilkan dari penyerapan karbondioksida di daerah Kabupaten Merauke. Metode pengolahan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah memanfaatkan software InVEST khususnya tools Final Ecosystem Services. Tools tersebut akan mengolah data-data yang terkait dengan simpanan karbon pada alam.Pengolahan lanjutan dari data tersebut diolah menggunakan software ArcGIS. Data yang diolah menggunakan software ArcGIS akan menghasilkan jumlah penyerapan karbondioksida dan nilai jasa lingkungan yang terdapat di Kabupaten Merauke. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa di Kabupaten Merauke terdapat simpanan karbon sebesar 306.46 ton/Ha dengan jumlah penyerapan karbondioksida sebesar 1124,71 ton/Ha. Berdasarkan data tersebut kemudian dihitung nilai jasa lingkungan yang dapat dihasilkan yaitu US$ 0 � US$ 5.139,93 per Ha.

Merauke is a district in southern part of Papua Province. Merauke regency is one of districts in Indonesia which still has areas with a high amount of forest cover. The total area of Merauke district is 45.071 km2 with swamp forests as the largest land cover. If the swamp forest that is not used properly, the swamp forest will lose functionality as an absorbent and storage of carbon on earth. One way that land use can be run by the public is the application of the ecosystem service values. This study aims to calculate the value of ecosystem services resulting from the carbondioxide sequestration in Merauke district. Data processing method that used in this research is to utilize InVEST software tools specifically tools for Final Ecosystem Services. These tools will process data related to carbon deposits on nature. The next step processing of the data is processed using ArcGIS software. Data were processed using ArcGIS software will generate the amount of carbondioxide sequestration and ecosystem services value in Merauke district. The product of research showed that in Merauke district there are carbon deposits amounted to 306.46 tons/Ha with the amount of carbondioxide sequestration at 1124.71 tons/Ha. Based on these data, the process will continue to calculate the value of the ecosystem services that can be produced, and the resultfor ecosystem service value in Merauke district is US$ 0 - US$ 5139.93 per Ha.
