KONSEP MASYARAKAT EKONOMI ASEAN (MEA) 2015 DITINJAU DARI PEMIKIRAN KARL POLANYI TENTANG RELASI MASYARAKAT DAN PASAR

Penelitian ini berjudul Konsep Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA) 2015 Ditinjau dari Pemikiran Karl Polanyi Tentang Relasi Masyarakat dan Pasar. Penelitian ini bermula dari rasa keraguan peneliti tentang konsep Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN 2015: Apakah MEA benar-benar berorientasi pada masyarakat atau justru pada pasar (kepentingan ekonomi)? Keraguan itu muncul karena logika manusia saat ini selalu terarah pada logika ekonomi. Karenanya, antara kepentingan dan tujuan menjadi sulit dibedakan. Menjawab keraguan tersebut, secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meninjau konsep MEA 2015 berdasarkan perspektif Karl Polanyi tentang relasi masyarakat dan pasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan model historis-faktual mengenai naskah (konsep MEA 2015). Penelitian ini memiliki prosedur pengerjaan yang terbagi menjadi tiga tahap. Pertama, tahap persiapan dengan mengumpulkan semua materi untuk kemudian diklasifikasikan ke dalam materi primer dan materi sekunder. Kedua, tahap pengerjaan yang meliputi sistematisasi, analisis-sintesis, dan evaluasi kritis. Terakhir, tahap penyelesaian atau tahap penyempurnaan. Berdasarkan perspektif Karl Polanyi terhadap konsep MEA 2015, penelitian ini menghasilkan tiga jawaban. Pertama, menjawab keraguan peneliti, bahwa MEA tidak benar-benar diarahkan atau berorientasi pada masyarakat, melainkan pada pasar (kepentingan ekonomi). Aspek kesejahteraan yang diusung MEA tidak lebih dari sekedar alasan penguat bagi kepentingan pasar (ekonomi). Kedua, pasar tunggal MEA bersifat utopis karena menghilangkan pola resiprositas dan hanya menghasilkan perdagangan bisu. Ketiga, relasi yang terjadi antara masyarakat dan pasar adalah relasi yang bersifat saling menguasai dan dikuasai atau saling mengatur dan diatur. Masyarakat dalam konsep MEA 2015 justru diletakkan tersubordinasi di bawah pasar (ekonomi). Kata Kunci: Relasi, Masyarakat, Pasar, MEA

The research entitled The concept of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015 viewed from Karl Polanyi's Thought about Relations between Society and Market. The research is started from the researchers hesitancy about the concept of an ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) 2015: Is the AEC truly society-oriented or even on the market (economic interests)? The hesitancy emerged because the current human logic has always focused on economic logic. Therefore, the interests and goals become indistinguishable. Answered these hesitancy, overall, this research aimed to review the concept of AEC 2015 by Karl Polanyi's perspective about the relation between society and market. This research was a library Research with the model of historical-factual of texts (AEC 2015 concept). This Research has a procedure which is divided into three stages. First, the preparatory phase to collect all the material then classified into primary and secondary materials. Second, the working stage which includes systematization, analysis-synthesis and critical evaluation. Lastly, the completion stage Based on Karl Polanyi perspective to the concept of AEC 2015, the research resulted in three answers. First, answered the hesitancy of researchers, that the MEA was not really directed or oriented on society, but on the market (economic interests). Welfare aspects that carried by AEC, nothing more than reinforcing reasons for the interest of the market (economy). Second, the single market of AEC was Utopian because it eliminated the reciprocity patterns and only produce the silence trades. Third, the relationship that occurs between the society and market was a relation mutually mastered and controlled or mutually regulate and regulated.
