ESTIMASI DINAMIKA DAN PEMETAAN POPULASI SAPI POTONG DI KECAMATAN WONOSARI KABUPATEN GUNUNG KIDUL

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dinamika populasi dan pemetaan sapi potong di Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Penelitiaan dilakukan pada bulan Januari 2016 sampai April 2016. Penelitian dengan metode sensus meliputi tiga desa (Karangtengah, Karangrejek, dan Wonosari) dengan 952 responden dengan jumlah sapi 1347 ekor. Data sekunder dari Dinas Pertanian Kabupaten Gunungkidul. Estimasi populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Wonosari dengan metode kenaikan rata-rata pada tahun 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, dan 2020 adalah 15854 ekor, 16840 ekor, 17887 ekor, 18999 ekor, dan 20180 ekor. Selanjutnya dengan metode analisis time series diestimasikan populasi sapi potong di Kecamatan Wonosari pada tahun 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, dan 2020 adalah 14646 ekor, 15269 ekor, 15891 ekor, 16513 ekor, dan, 17136 ekor. Komposisi sapi potong di Kecamatan Wonosari terdiri dari PO 53,45%, SIMPO 16,18% dan LIMPO 30,37%. Struktur populasi di Kecamatan Wonosari terdiri atas dewasa 51,45% (jantan 11,43% dan betina 40,02%), muda 28,58% (jantan 14,55% dan betina 14,03%), dan pedet 19,97% (jantan 10,10% dan betina 9,87%).

The research was conducted to determine the population dynamics and the mapping population beef cattle at Wonosari District Gunungkidul Regency. This research was done from Januari 2016 to April 2016. This research was conducted using sensus method in three villages (Karangtengah, Karangrejek, and Wonosari), including 952 farmers to be interviewed as respondents with the number involving of cattle ranchers for 1347cattle. Secondary date from Department of Agriculture at Gunungkidul Regency. Estimation ofbeefcattlepopulation with average increase method at Wonosari District in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 are 15854 cattle, 16840 cattle, 17887 cattle, 18999 cattle, and 20180 cattle. If count with analysis time series method, estimation of population beef cattle in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 are 14646 cattle, 15269 cattle, 15891 cattle, 16513 cattle, and 17136 cattle. The compotition of beef cattle were 53,45% PO, 16,18% SIMPO, and 30,37% LIMPO. The structure of beef cattle were calves 19,97% (10,10% males and 9,87 % females cattle), 28,58% yearling (14,55% males and 14,03% females cattle), 51,45% mature cattle (11,43% males dan 40,02% females cattle).
