Laporan tugas akhir ini berjudul Pemberkasan Arsip Korespondensi Di Subbagian Kepegawaian Dan Tata Usaha Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta. Tujuan laporan ini yaitu untuk mengetahui proses pemberkasan, sarana dan prasarana serta kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses pemberkasan arsip korespondensi di Subbagian Kepegawaian Dan Tata Usaha Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data dalam laporan ini dilakukan dalam 3 (tiga) metode yaitu metode observasi partisipasi, studi pustaka dan wawancara. Metode observasi partisipasi yang dilakukan merupakan pengamatan langsung dan berpartisipasi dalam mengolah arsipnya. Metode studi pustaka merupakan menghimpun informasi untuk memperoleh bahan tambahan yang berasal dari sumber tertulis yang berkaitan dengan pemberkasan arsip korespondensi. Sedangkan metode wawancara merupakan pengumpulan data denga tanya jawab terhadap pegawai untuk melengkapi data. Kesimpulan dari laporan ini adalah pemberkasan arsip korespondensi di Subbagian Kepegawaian Dan Tata Usaha Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta sudah sesuai dengan standar kearsipan. Sistem pemberkasannya menggunakan sistem alfanumerik untuk mempermudah dalam penemuan kembalinya. Kendala yang terjadi yaitu kurangnya sumber daya manusia dan kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya arsip.

This final report entitled Correspondence Record Filing System in Subbagian Kepegawaian and Tata Usaha Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta. The purpose of this report is to know the process of filing, the infrastructure and the obstacles encountered in the process of correspondence record filing system in Subbagian Kepegawaian and Tata Usaha Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta. The Collecting data in this report is in 3 (three) methods. They are the methods of observation participation, the literature study, and the interview. The Method observation participation conducted a directly observation and participate in processing the records. The Study conducted of this report is to collect information to obtain additional materials derived from written sources that related to correspondence record filing system.The interview is the data collection method with used asks the employees to complete the required data. The conclusion of this report is correspondence record filing system in Subbagian Kepegawaian and Tata Usaha Balai Besar Veteriner Wates Yogyakarta already based on the standard record. The filing system uses an alphanumeric system to made easy to found out the records. The problem that occur are lack of human resources and a lack of awareness of the importance of records
